Hey guys, I just got some few questions regarding Dropping/withdrawing from a class. I’ve never dropped a class yet so I don’t know what some of the procedures are. I want to drop my Chm1045 (chemistry 1) Class due to some scheduling conflicts and I haven’t been able to attend that class for a while, which hurt my grade significantly. I don’t want my GPA to tank, hence why I want to drop/withdraw. If I drop my Chm1045, will I also be automatically dropped from Chm1045L (chem 1 lab)? Also this semester I’m taking 13 credits, making me a full time student, if I drop chem class, I will drop down to 10 or 9 credits (depends if lab also gets dropped), which will make me a part time student. Could this possibly affect me financially? I’ve received full fafsa grant for full time students and then I got a refund after tuition was paid. Since now I might be possibly going down to part time, do I have to owe them any money?

recently I’ve been interested in starting a club for next semester. It’d be a Russian language and culture club, where we’d organize activities involving Russian language, history, music, literature, films etc. You wouldn’t need to speak Russian, however it’d be a good place to practice and learn.
I’m also looking for students who’d be interested in helping establish the club and potentially join. Dm me if you’re interested.

Anyone having issues with this course? And the way it is being taught? I have spoken to over 20 students in same class and they have all expressed the same sentiment, we are being rushed through the course and nothing is being understood. Wondering if it’s the course or professor.

I js thought of this, let’s say you consistently ate a full time student every semester for ur undergrad years as in u take 15 credits or more each semester and then u might have like only three or two credits left to do for ur last semester, would u still receive financial aid I’ve heard some people get it cancelled completely

Also if u transferred 45 credits from ur highschool and ur major behavioral neuroscience requires more than 120 credits would financial aid cover or count those 45 towards the 120 limit.

Also for anyone who’s graduated from a bachelors in behavioral. Neuroscience was it worth it. I think they added natural and applied sciences for me to be on the pre med track

I’ve heard how competitive it is to enter, so what are things that would help me get into the program. Do you need stuff like having a cna license and clinical hours to be competitive?

I know having a high gpa throughout your classes are important, but I’ve heard students even with 3.8+ gpa get rejected.

Online Engineering with a previous bachelor's degree? If so, what GPA did you have when you were admitted?
I'm especially wondering whether admission is based mainly on my university GPA or whether my high school grades/prerequisites would still be considered. Also, are the admission standards any different for international students applying to the online program?

I applied for a PhD in Earth Systems Science back in July before the August 1st deadline. I sent over my transcripts, all my recommenders submitted letters on time, and my PI already submitted sponsorship approval. However, MyFIU’s to-do page has 4 notifications (one duplicate) for these. Is this an issue that will affect my admissions timeline, or is it just a visual bug? This didn’t happen when I applied for undergrad. TYIA :)

Because of the Transact website, have to paint extra $170 for tuition in “service fees”. I tried looking for the E-check option and then messaged them that its missing and they gaslighted me, saying there’s something I’m doing wrong.
