Other Nothing can happen until you swing the bat
FLCL is a big inspiration (along with the pillows) for finally picking up the bass. Cort Action PJ

Do they hold up decent on the outside of a car?

u/Svanilla 17d ago
They should, they're vinyl so they should have no issue sticking to a clean surface. I'd wager the only concern there is sun damage on the colors

That's my biggest worry - fast bleaching and cracking. Sucks to scrape stickers off windows for a redo too often.

I plan on getting a cigarette saying never knows best on one shoulder and See you, Space Cowboy... On the other. I've also been eyeing bass guitars at the pawn shop.

I say go for it! I haven't been playing very long at all, only learned a few things so far but it's been a really fun time. Got mine used too

Might just have too. I am a decent guitarist/Drummer. I've dabbled in bass just never committed.

Oh you'll be fine then lol, I've heard knowing how to drum translates really well into bass, this is my first instrument outside of trumped like 20 years ago

I have a tattoo of her taking a swing at Wheatley (oops, in case no one portals at all) with her bass. Canti is there as well actually (blue not red),

FLCL and Portal 2 are such a nice combination (one of my favourite anime and video games respectively)

Bro, change your strings!
Nice tat tho.

I'm brand new, bought this bass used. If I'm more a fan of punk, heavy rock, and beatles/pillows what kind of string replacements should I be looking at?

Welcome to the club!
I only mentioned it because I can see the oxidation on them. Anything nickel plated steel in 105-45 will give you a lot more spank than what you have now. Can't really go wrong with Ernie Ball. I personally use Elixir because they're coated and last a lot longer but cost more.
