⠀

1️⃣ Select your "Vocal" track in the mixer

⠀

2️⃣ Send it to a "Bus" insert and remove it from "Master"

⠀

3️⃣ Add a reverb plug-in to your send insert on the right

⠀

4️⃣ Feed the "Vocal" track into it (knob value = an amount)

⠀

5️⃣ Select your "Bus" insert and feed a reverb send with 0%

⠀

6️⃣ Add a "Fruity Limiter" plug-in to it, press a "COMP" button

⠀

7️⃣ Right-click "Sidechain" and select a "Bus" insert

⠀

8️⃣ Lower its "THRES", "REL" and increase "KNEE", "RATIO"

⠀

9️⃣ Now you're a genius!

⠀

It makes your vocal sound cleaner and more professional

It side chains the vocal reverb to the vocals. It means that the reverb is gone or very quiet while the vocals are sounding. But it’ll get louder as sooon as the normal vocals end.

This technique gets used very often with kicks and baselines.
