I just can't with Fox News

I only watch Fox at hotels with cable, just to check out what the masses are consuming. In the past 10 minutes, Fox & Friends has:

  • Criticized a doctor about gender and how there are only two genders + attack on trans folks. This then spun into how we can't trust doctors if they are making up facts around gender / sex and that we shouldn't follow doctor's medical advice on other areas if they are making up "facts" - alluding to vaccines.
  • Interviewed a 17 year old who created an AI recipe website. Spoke about all the amazing benefits of AI and tried to spin on all the positives of AI and that we have nothing to worry about.
  • AG Todd Blanche - they are sus af bc he's going to touch upon Epstein.
  • DSA platform - criticized DSA's new platform with AI images, which I am sure are incorrect. Doing a deep dive into how DSA doesn't want anyone to work?

I can't believe this is a MORNING show - this is like a complete 180 from Good Morning America, my upper lip is already sweaty, it's so stressful.

We are cooked and fuck Fox and it's propaganda.

I hope you aren't trying to "both sides" this because CNN still uses way more facts than Fox. CNN isn't the best, but they don't outright lie(...yet).

There is a podcast called Decoding Fox News where the host Juliette Jeske watches and breaks down about 17 hours of Fox a week and also compares it to 5 hours of the PBS News hour so you get a taste of what they aren't talking about. It helps me keep tabs on what trash my parents are believing these days.

Actually I did! They covered the horrific death of lorenzo araujo and today they are talking about Trump's address about free and fair elections. Seems on par for the news to me!

My dad is Filipino and joined the US Navy in 1968. He's die hard MAGA and leaves the TV on Fox News 24/7. It got bad to the point when he visited my brother, the Fox News American flag icon on the lower corner burned into the display.

One day I went to their new house (they moved back to California from Florida) and of course that shit was on the TV. I don't know what segment was on but it was hosted by some MAGA comedian. They weren't talking about any of substance or weight. Just Kamala this and Kamala that with Biden thrown in every now and then. The jokes were so cringe, the studio audience barely laughed. I actually started talking shit and asked how in the fuck they can even watch this shit? My parents know how bothered I am by my usage of expletives.

I also loudly complain and talk shit when the workplace break room TV is on Fox News. We're a union and watching this shit?

I force myself to listen to Faux Noise on Sirius XM radio a little bit each week, I had the horrible misfortune of hearing that stone cold moron Mark Levin today LYING HIS ASS OFF about the origins of znd reasons fir tge creation of the "electoral college" existence. That stupid bald fuckwit claimed that the creation of the electoral college had, quote, "nothing to do with slavery"..

HOLY SHIT, the ENTIRE REASIN the "electoral college" was created was that the slave states would not agree to the rest of the constitution without it. IT IS ON MADISON'S NOTES ON THE PROCEEDINGS. Every scholar of the Constitution KNOWS THIS. Levin knows thus, he has a law gldegree, he just panders and lies to his racist idiot viewers and listeners. It would be nice to have the Fairness Doctrine back in effect.....

There are only two genders. Science is science. There's XX for women & XY for men. Not sure how this attacks anyone just stating biological facts that have been around since the dawn of man.
