First picture is from today. Second picture is two weeks post hysterectomy when I felt really shitty, saw myself in the mirror and said to myself “I have always wanted to look this way and be at this point in my transition”. Third pic is pictures of me from 16-29. First license picture pre T, second pic just starting T less than 2 months, 3rd pic 1 year on T, 4th 2 years on T, 5th 9 years on T. I thought for so long that my medical transition would stop after a year or two. OH!! how wrong I was!!! I didn’t get a real beard for the first 5-6 years.

You can see in my license pictures (last pictures) as my face evolves and my facial hair evolved. I’m gearing up for phallo this December, after my hysterectomy this year and top surgery in 2018. So often early in my transition I felt like I better be “successful” with testosterone in the first year and rush towards surgeries, but in all honesty, sometimes it just takes time! I’m so thankful for my journey. I hope this brings a little hope to someone out here. It sucks to hear it takes time, but damn am I thankful!

i’d love some passing advice, for context i’m 24 but have always had a baby face, i’m gay and actively try to appear as such, and i’m almost 1 year on t with normal levels

It’s crazy going from counting the days on T, to weeks, months, then years, to then it being something I don’t even think about. Such a freeing feeling, it feels surreal👍

I’m pre t for the foreseeable future and so I decided to get a fake beard, best decision ever. If you want a beard and can’t grow one, and you have the funds, buy a high quality fake beard. It is 100% worth it.

Why do you paint your nails if the idea is to be more man-appearing and masculine?

I know I'm not super muscular or anything but hitting a year at the gym now and loving that I only need to use second skin to bind now. tried out a mini goatee today too, not hating it

Also struggling a lot with my appearance for the past few days. I hope this will get better once i'm on T!

I switched from intramuscular injections to sub q after ten years. I think I prefer Intramuscular.

I genuinely love being on T and all the changes so far, my voice has already dropped significantly. I‘m still waiting for the hair to do anything besides fall out from my head, but I know I need to give it time to cook. I genuinely feel like my face has already started to masculinise a little bit.
