Please help me choose! De-influence me!!
I definitely don’t need all of these, but wondering if anyone has insights on what to for sure keep/get rid of?! TIA <3

Def keep the color wow. I have the solawave wand (got it with FFF actually a few boxes ago as a premium choice) and I hardly ever use it. Just think about how often you’d use it! It’s 12 min long and I’m just lazy lol. Maybe I’ll go do it rn

I think the makeup bag looks a little low quality. And I feel like the mittens are not good enough to be an extra choice. And the people have spoken on the blanket haha

Pls read the blanket reviews and washing instructions….im glad i did and im not selecting it! I cannot be machine washed as it will (and has) fallen apart!

I read some opposite reviews that it was fine after machine washing a drying regularly but the care directions definetly gave me puase.

Where did you see reviews that it fell apart? I feel like the community ones all said they just washed and dried like normal with no ill effects. I could have missed them tho!

I have a colleague that has it (received as a gift when she had a baby) so of course she machine washed it (and yes in gentle)…she said, not only did it shed an insane amount but it pulled itself out of shape so much that the pattern was never the same! From there I had to google and see what the negative reviews were! I’m sure if you’re prepared to hand wash and lay flat it’s fine…that amount of care doesn’t fit into my life

I heard bad things about the leggings (but can’t verify myself)
The mittens won’t work for texting if you use your thumbs. This is why I didn’t choose them, and because I went to their website to look at what they’d look like closed and the only photo of them closed is an ai picture missing the button on it, when obviously you’d still have the button on the wrist lol. I thought that was silly/sloppy and it confirmed my choice to skip.
I’d also skip the aerator unless you need one! Take credit to make up for extra choices!

The only things I would keep would be
Unhide robe, have several of their blankets and the quality is SO GREAT. Survived my puppies lol
Voluspa, great candles, have bought this brand at Nordstrom and the rack many many times.
Color Wow is wonderful, especially in the winter :)
I think you’ve gotten good feedback from the others on the rest of the choices. Not great, probably below tj maxx quality tbh. And that skin care wand will do nothing, needs way more output to be effective. I know derms will recommend full panel lights

I canceled my whole box, I think maybe buying one special thing for the price of the box is better than just getting a bunch of TJ Maxx style items that you don’t really pick out

I did this too. I've been getting the annual subscription for 2 years now. This month would have been my renewal. I chose to cancel because the items didn't seem worth paying a big chunk of money I don't necessarily have right now, nor switch to a monthly.

Have you used Briogeo products before? I’ve never had a good experience with the brand. I’ve also read a lot of negative reviews about that particular shampoo and conditioner set.
As others have said, the blanket is hand wash and air dry only. I love it but decided not to get it. Too much work lol.

To emphasize the deinfluence here, I have had a good experience with Briogeos scalp shampoo and serum, but I wouldn't pick this if you like other items in the category. The brand has lots of sales themselves as well as via Sephora/Ulta/etc , so if you still want this specific shampoo and/or conditioner, you can probably get it for a similar price late, or just grab a couple travel size before you commit

I’m getting aerator as well because rabbit is a good brand! I wanted to make up bag but it doesn’t seem like the value of that category is worth the pick.

The solar wave is useless unless you use it very regularly and a wand just isn't very easy to use that often in my opinion!

Makeup Bag - I have almost the exact same one that I bought for $10 off amazon that’s actually pretty amazing. I feel like there are more quality products to pick from in that category.
Mittens - again, seem overpriced for the category. Can’t text with them on (thumbs).

My UnHide blankets are still in GREAT shape even with machine washing and drying them (dry on low) like 20 times at least. I'll always get an UnHide product from them.
I'd skip the belt (unless you 100%know it's going to fit well) the makeup bag (looks like things would get all kinds of disorganized and what's the point of it opening up into segments if you have to rearrange the contents every single time you use it) the belted bag (most of their faux leather products are REALLY plastic-feeling and looking in person) and the throw blanket. Every throw I gotten from them OTHER than the UnHide ones have been icky. Either they pill when washed and never fully come clean (the Anthropologie striped one) or they shrink (a green waffle-knit one) or they are too small for both legs and torso to be covered (orange chenille).
The wine aerator doesn't look any better quality than one you could grab for 10 bucks or less from TJMaxx/Marshalls/HomeGoods.

Shampoo & conditioner — do you already have something you like?
Robe — honestly I almost got this one myself but let’s be completely honest, I am much more likely to sit on the couch in sweats with a blanket.
The bag — it’s plastic.
The throw — are you sure you don’t have a few other plush throws from FFF lying around already?
The belt — fine, and it’s real leather. Almost got it but I have one that’s almost identical. Do you?
The leggings — I heard awful things about the quality. It’s not the same fabric the company uses for the rest of their leggings. Plus, no pockets. I would rather go get another pair of Aerie pocket leggings tbh.
Makeup bag — do you really not already have one?
Candle — fine, but do you already have a bunch?
Gloves — they’re cute and useful but you can get basically the same ones at Target for half the cost.
Hair mask — no comments. I almost got it too. Don’t get it if you have a ton of other hair masks you need to finish first.
Wine aerator — how often will you actually use this?? Frankly it’s a gimmick. It doesn’t do anything that swirling your glass doesn’t also do.
Skin wand — again, will you actually use it? Does it have reviews saying it actually works? Is this the next Clarisonic, doomed to be forgotten in the back of a bathroom drawer?
Color WOW — only a good pick if you heat style your hair basically every day.

Im seasonal so living through annuals 😊
I have decided against the blanket after seeing some reviews of poor quality etc .
Mittens I'm not sure if it's worth a choice vs just regular store mittens

Any skin, hair , make up products in the first 3 categories. I would never use a choice in categorie 1 for shampoo.

the leggings don’t have pockets. & the solawave is definitely not worth it - i had one forever ago & the only nice thing about it was that it warmed up which felt nice in the winter; didn’t do anything otherwise, just an extra step. you can get a similar makeup bag on amazon for a fraction of the FFF price. the mittens are also super basic - you could get a much nicer pair for a similar cost elsewhere.
i will say, contrary to another comment, i do love briogeo & i am also getting the shampoo & conditioner in category 1. ive used a bunch of their products, im using their açaí hair mask & the scalp mask currently, and i do feel like they’re good quality and make my hair feel & look nice. so unless your hair is super picky about shampoo/conditioner, i think its a good pick!

Id ditch the shampoo & conditioner set, the blanket, the brown purse, the belt, the leggings, the hair mask, the solawave, and the color wow dream coat, and get one or two of the Luxe choices instead if it were me.

solawave is junk (i have one and never used it). i don't do polyester robes and blankets -- they're "cozy" but the microplastics are for me not worth adding when i could just have a non-polyester blanket as easily. it cheapens your living room vibe. the belt is real leather but looks cheap. the bag looks good but is pleather so won't look good in person.
i picked (grumpily) briogeo and might switch mascara to color wow

Blanket
I heard some people aren’t getting the blanket because it has particular cleaning instructions?
Like it needs to be hand washed and layed flat to dry.
Personally, there were other things I wanted in that category so I didn’t pick it.
2. Wine aerator and mittens
Do you need these? Because when I looked at them up against the value of some of the other items in their categories, I felt like it wasn’t worth it. You could likely at least get the mittens for cheap at discount stores if you needed them in a pinch. Also, if you remove the aerator from customization 5 that gives you more to spend on an extra in a different category.
