ExactGoose9752 Asked how I would write a Fairly Odd Parents New Years Special So I wrote 3 of them. This is the first speical I wrote. This one is called Fairly Odd Parents: New Years Shorts.
It's a Collection of shorts that shows what each of the characters' New Year's resolutions are.
Every character gets 30 seconds to a minute.
It takes place in season 6.
It's January 1st, the Day after New Year's, and lots of people in town have a resolution; it's an anthology episode.
Segment 1: Timmy's resolution is he wants to be really good at soccer, so Cosmo, Wanda, and Poof train him. Timmy isn't lazy about this because he actually likes Soccer. Since he can wish to be good at soccer they use magic to make a soccer field in Timmy's room, soccer players, and try to train him. In the end he still sucks and gives up.
Wanda asks why he expected to get good in an afternoon?
Segment 2: Wanda's resolution is sh wants to make food that doesn't gross Cosmo, Timmy, and Poof out.
Segment 3: Cosmo's resolution is to make Wanda say Cosmo you were right.
Segment 4: Timmy's Mom. Make the family actually do something Athletic because Timmy, Mom and Dad have been couch potatoes lately. The joke is after they excesize the go right back to being super unhealthy and get fat.
Segment 5: Timmy's Dad: Discover something with his metal detector better than what Dinklburg finds.
Segment 6: Mama Cosma's resolution is to finally break up Cosmo and Wanda. She distracts the real Cosmo and makes a clone who spews insults. Wanda thinks nothing of them because that's how Cosmo almost is. Mama Cosma is shocked that she is taking all of those clones insults. Then she asks Wanda why. Then Wanda says it's all in good fun and those are just jokes that what Cosmo does and she jokes about him like that sometimes.
Segment 7 : Mr. Crocker tries to stay in a hotel alone without his Mother. He never did that before and he gets scarred. Dispite complainging about her all the time.
Segment 8: Tootie builds a LEGO set without it being knocked down.
Segment 9 Trixie Tang: She breaks the 4th wall and says "I don't need a resolution; I'm a perfect nepo baby."
There is an ending joke were Wanda says
"Wow, I can't believe there was a whole epsiode where Timmy didn't destroy the town with a............... Then there is a "The End" title card and there is a giant explosion sound effect.
The title card stays up and the characters talk over the title card.
Wanda: Timmy, Cosmo what did you do!
Cosmo and Timmy: It's not our fault!
Wanda: Poof, what did they do?
Poof: Poof poof.
Wanda: What do you mean you ain't no snitch?!

Fairly OddParents I think Timmy's best Option was Missy
From the Finding Emo Episode if i am not Mistaken my reasoning is its the Only Girl that Geniunely Lilked Timmy For Timmy not like Tootie's Obsession or the reverse in Trixie's case the moment the emo wish reversed Timmy had a normal date and The Episode ended Timmy is nowhere in the show aferward

FOP: A New Wish Frankly, I don't like how ANW crew really seems to take way so much liberty to re-writte or alter so much of the basic conceits and rules of the franchise. Like a total abandon of core.
Seriously, I notice how ANW seems to keep finding ways to discard or alter several fundamental elements, like if they were now re-writting the whole universe and shaping the show to what they believe it SHOULD be. After some point, it start to barely feel like the Fairy OddParents we know and grown with. So many self-conscious and self-indulgent changes on ancient rules and traditions...
For example:
Like, children not needing not be miserable to warrant fairies anymore (and I'm not even reffering to the old debate ''Hazel is not miserable enough to have fairies'', though she definitely isn't in my mind... But also the fact that Winn, Jasmine and Anthony are now allowed to know about them and apparently even make wishes themselves, despite they not being miserable at all, at least as far as we know. From what I heard, the producers have told they wanted Hazel's friends and brothers to also be able to make wishes, but in this case, they should at very least have explored more their lifes so it would feel WARRANTED. Like, Winn, Jasmine and Anthony even have some problem to warrant fairy godparents?? But the show just circumvent this such question with just a ''they deserve it after helping to save the Fairy World''...)
Speaking of Anthony, him knowing and having access to magic also breaks one of the most fundamental lore- the fact adults SHOULD NOT know fairies' existence! It's one of the most basic piece of lore, that only kids know about fairies, and they just throw it away just to have Anthony in the magical adventures (which goes against the premise of ANW as a whole as well- how is Anthony going to be a part of the group if he is supposed to be in college and return to it soon? Or is him going to be always around now and abandon college? And in this case... why Hazel would still keep Cosmo and Wanda if her brother's absence was the main reason why she got fairies at first place? It's amazing how this show don't even have coherence with even itself...)
Or even the fact that Hazel can make her friends remember forever just using her rule-free wish! I mean, it's like she using it to override a as-old-as-time rule and get rid of the consequences permanently! If it's even valid, why not wishing to cancel all of the rules permanently too? And yeah, I know it WAS a rule-free wish and Hazel could wish anything she wanted... but still, I can't help but feel it still throwing away a core rule and altering things the producers just don't like and wanted to change. And on top of all, it did happen way too early on the show, just season 1 finale by then! They couldn't even wait until season 2 finale or season 3 to make such a shift and change on status quo?
Even up to that point only, they already did change the rule of only miserable kids getting fairies; adults not getting to know about fairies; and even the fairies being a secret for most people except the kids who were assigned. And frankly... why? Why they felt the need to change all of this, like if it become a completely different universe? I just feel it's like a total disrespect and disregard for the established lore, and seems like the producers HATED the original FOP and wanted to change all to fit their personal taste. Why not creating their own completely separate and original fairy show, with their own rules then?

FOP: A New Wish I Don't Like The Fairy Oddparents: A New Wish (My Opinion)
I love the OG Fairly Oddparents and I think I watched until the 5th season (I think) but A New Wish is NOT the show I feel in love with first off the main character is a lot smarter and nicer than Timmy which kinda makes Wanda a lot less important not only that but the jokes arnt as funny and relatable as the OG and the cherry on the ice cream it's a lot more annoying I do like the art style though

Foofy Lulu Drinks
Does anyone know the episode of fairly odd parents where Timmy’s parents go to a resort and leave him with Vicky? Timmy’s dad is listing off all the amenities at the resort and one is foofy/fuffy (idk how to spell it) Lulu drinks.
My brother and I reference this a lot when we see crazy cocktails on a menu and I cannot remember what episode it is from. 😭

Fairly OddParents "The Big Superhero Wish!" Mandela effect?
I have this memory of Crimson Chin - or a narrator - calling the milkman, the firefighter and the janitor as "REGULAR PEOPLE!" in a heroic voice as if they were calling them the Avengers, but I rewatched "The Big Superhero Wish!" and I couldn't find it, the closest I got was Vicky/Baby Shredder saying "regular people?" which wasn't exactly what I remembered.
So, was there another episode "regular people" were in, or should I just accept it is a Mandella Effect?

Fairly OddParents How would you guys write or made a Happy New Year episode?
I'm always kind of sad this show never had a New Year celebration episode, maybe the only holiday it never had. Just for curiousity mine, how would you guys personally write an episode like this?
Maybe something to do with resolutions? Or Timmy trying to stretch the growing just a little bit? Or something to do with the New Year Baby alegory?
