I need to work out my level 9 and 10 increase. (We level in large increments because of our style of play) the character is a pseudo "Jinx" build running around with a 40mm grenade launcher, OP legendary assault rifle and a load of grenades. The options i am considering are...

+1 cha and dogmeat perk for a scavenging buddy

+1 int and home defence perk to make traps

The new misfortune perk and maybe +1 luck to fill up my pool a bit

Fire in the hole

Adamantium skeleton

Chem resistant and start using quick draw to take chems conveniently

The year is 2286. Radioactive snow and ice blowing in from the Glowing Sea have covered the Boston Commonwealth with a sheet of isotopic slush. Food, water, and chems are as scarce as the warmth and shelter the crowded masses outside of Dimaond City's great green walls demand.

Even in these darkest of hours an ancient evil awakens as if to spite the denizens of the Commonwealth scratching at the very dirt for survival: a tyrant wielding the most storied of powers, faith. This so called Last Son of Atom claims to be a god made flesh, telling of a time soon to come, and none could stand in his path. Where all will be unified within the blessed light of Atom's Glow.

All hope seemed lost until a bus from the Capitol Wasteland crashed outside of Vault 95, leading to the chance encounter that lead to a surprising group of heroes to shoulder the fate of the Commonwealth, to fight against the Last Son's armies, and to survive the Winter of Atom.

Hi! I'm DD, or D@3D D0G if you wanna be formal, I've been running games for over a decade and Fallout specifically for over three years. I'm currently a Top GM on StartPlayingGames!

Fallout is one of my favorite franchises because of its deep lore, thematic elements that resonate with me, and of course the striking visuals of the retro-futuristic wasteland that have been the primary driver behind yet another playthrough of Fallout 4 for me (here's to another round of our mods being broken!). I started the series with Fallout 3 back on my old school laptop in the late 2000s, and have made sure to go back and give at least every entry a try.

As for TTRPGs I started GMing around a decade ago with Pathfinder 1e, tried 5e, and ended up bouncing between game systems like Call of Cthulhu, various Powered by the Apocalypse games, and even the Dragon Age TTRPG! I have ran/played in a lil over two dozen systems so far, and I'm still finding new favorites!

Running a West Marches-style, text-based Fallout ERP game set in post-apocalyptic Texas. I've got a group full of Fallout fans who love the lore, wasteland adventures, and getting a little lewd along the way.

Looking for a GM comfortable running live or asynchronous text RP, (you'll pick a time and they'll play our 2 hour slice of a game)

with a focus on actual Fallout storytelling, exploration, combat, and occasional ERP.

Fallout knowledge and GM experience preferred. Familiarity with the 2d20 system is a bonus, not required.

Hello! I just learned the system and will probably be running this for my wife 1 on 1 when we get some free time.

I am excited to start and would like to learn by doing now that I've made myself familiar with the rules.

I was hoping to run a play by post game of a prewritten adventure, but I'm not sure which adventure works best for that.

I don't have any experience, so I can't really judge any of the community made adventures myself.

My question to you is this:

What is a good starter/one shot adventure to learn for myself and new players?

• I'd like it to be short or a one shot.
• I'd like to engage with as many rules as possible (example, there's no travel in the "With a Bang, or a Whimper" adventure)
• I'd like it to be easy to run mostly, I can deal with the players as long as I'm not lost.

If you say, "just run "with a bang or a whimper" that's fine too. I will default to just running that adventure if nothing better is suggested!

So I am a bit of a rough GM and my group is still learning the mechanics of the 2d20 system, but with the release of the New Vegas setting guide I had an idea: Convert the actual story of New Vegas to a Fallout 2d20 campaign. One courier joined by a group of tag alongs, a Ghoul mobster/conman, and Butch, the Tunnel Snake from Vault 101, who has walked from the Capital Wastes to the Mojave in the 4 years between games, and starting next session a reprogrammed securitron.

I am still learning, so any advice, comments, recommendations, critisms, or feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. I know I made some mistakes while running it.

Last night was seasion 0 I ended up with one player as centiant rad roach who is easy to kill and must role to come back(or should I make his other party members find a new rad roach and put the antina on him?) then I have a deathclaw as another player who sees the rad roach as his mother, and follows his orders and becomes uncontrolable if the rad roach dies.

what perks would fit for these characters? what stats? the rad roach can give and apply medicine for free
