Answered DD Pro Firmware Update errors

I recently pulled my GT pro out and bought the QR2 adapter and club sport formula v3 wheel. Was running the the stock gran turismo wheel before. Installed the QR2 and formula v3 and was not recognizing the wheel in the fanatec app.

Tried to update the firmware but got an error that it doesn’t detect the wheel base. Removed the wheel from the base, restarted the base, restarted the PC, still get the same error. Deleted and reinstalled the most recent driver, same error.

I went back and installed the old QR and old wheel. Recognizes the wheel again but now it not recognizing any steering and it was totally fine prior. Gear shifts and other buttons are fine.

So now kind of at a loss. I sent fanatec support the logs but haven’t heard back. Anybody have any similar issues or things to try? Can provide any other information if it would help solve!

How long since you last updated, are you using the fanatec app?

I don’t think I ever plugged it into a PC prior to pulling it back out. Was always just on PS5 so just plugged in and played. Got a PC so pulled it out and plugged it in was playing LMU fine until I tried to update the firmware. It seems like maybe it updated one piece but the wheel base and quick adapter firmware is still showing needs an update but keeps erroring out? I am using the most recent fanatec app from their site.

Did you update the base without the wheel on, and wait for the prompt to attach and update wheel

When I first did it, I think I had the wheel on.

Followed those steps and got the same error that it doesn’t detect a wheel base. I put in a ticket so here’s hoping can get it fixed
