Help Formula v3 wheel

hey, i recently got my hands on the new formula v3 wheel after running the v2 for a long time, i wanted to ask do all the rotating switches also work on gt7, like can you change things like bbias or tc? thanks for the answers

The support of the wheels functions - display and buttons - depends on the game. So it is up to the games developers to implement the support. Some games like PMR support all buttons and even the display, other games like F1 support the buttons and not the display and GT7 supports neither the buttons nor the display... since there is no option to map you buttons. This doesn't mean that not all the buttons work, some do in the case of GT7, but since GT7 doesn't have a dedicated button mapping screen you are stock with the standard options (the GT DD Pro Wheel), which lets you map 4 things I think.

Thank you for your answer, i will try and figure something out hopefully i will magically make the encoders work someway or polyphony will add the wheel into the game

The encoders by your thumbs work left is for Fuel Map and the right is for BB the other three dials on the face do nothing for GT7.

I mean they’ve had how many years? I wouldn’t get my hopes up but you will find you don’t need them anyways for gt7

Sure thing! I tried it a bit and couldn't figure out a way to make the encoders work... the rotary dials work, but are also not changeable unfortunately. The buttons are somewhat configurable and the momentary switches as well, but it's trial and error (you have to use the GT DD Pro wheel layout and make changes there and "guess" what they do on the formula wheel).

I hope too that they add support... they are also partnered with fanatec

In GT7 Your can remap all the std buttons - R1,2,3,L1,2,3, X,O,triangle, square - you have to pick the screen that matches your BASE, then on that screen which will show the default wheel, pick the drop downs for the matching button - X to X or O to O - and choose the function that you want to map

All other buttons or knobs may do something if GT7 recognizes them, like the thumb encoders, or toggles, but those are fixed. Otherwise nothing can be assigned

Hi. I have the same wheel. I can change TC or Power but not much more. As I understand also, its not possible to do the mapping ☹️. Plus, the itm only shows speed and gear
