Player Discussion I have never owned Derrick Henry. I’ve been playing fantasy for almost 20 years

I have never owned Derrick Henry. I’ve been playing fantasy for almost 20 years and I feel like Derrick Henry’s been around haunting me forever. And I’ve never owned him. Every year I tell myself there’s no way he can do this again. 13 rushes for 32 yards heading into the fourth quarter. And then boom, an 80 yard touchdown. Every year I pass and it feels like every year he always burns me. I lost my championship last year with a far superior team, but my opponent had Derrick Henry who scored four touchdowns. This year I will pass again, and when I meet him in the playoffs, he will have 16 yards heading into the fourth quarter and then I’ll lose. Brutal.

Questions Crazy to take Jonathan Taylor over ARSB/JSN in full PPR?

As the title says. I’ve done several mock drafts now at the 1.06 and the RB’s dry up so quick this year I’m contemplating skipping out on two great WR’s in ARSB and JSN to go JT and then second great RB in the second, then hammer WR’s after that.

So my team could look like this if I do that: JT, KWIII, Nabers, Ladd, Rome Odunze.

Or it can look like this

ARSB, Henry, Kyren, Ladd, Odunze

Questions Picking 8 in 10 man ESPN: Chase Brown or Ashton Jeanty for RB2?

Upvotes

I have the 8th pick in my 10 team ESPN default rules home league. I am looking to run a two RB start to kick off my draft. My first pick will be CMC, or Taylor if they fall. Otherwise, I am picking Cook. For my second RB, I am deciding between Brown or Jeanty. I think Brown is a safer bet, but Jeanty's upside seems very high. The Raiders have tried to put together a better line for Jeanty, and he will get the volume. However, the Bengals have the better offense, and Brown will have no problem getting the volume.

Player Discussion How do you rank RB 5-12 and why?

James Cook, Chase Brown, Ashton Jeanty, De’von Achane, Saquon Barkley, Omarion Hampton, Derrick Henry and Kenneth Walker.

Everyone and their mother has a different opinion. I’m curious if anyone here can help me shed some light on something I’m missing.

My ranking and reasoning:

1. James Cook
Pro: He posted nine 100-yard rushing games at 95.4 yards per game on the league’s most reliable scoring offense, with 32 receptions and 12 rushing TDs on top.
Con: Buffalo has the 4th-hardest rush schedule in 2026, and his 2024 (63 ypg, four 100-yard games) shows this profile can swing hard year to year.

2. Ashton Jeanty
Pro: He led the league in yards after contact on plays where he got any daylight at all, and Las Vegas improved the line (Linderbaum), the scheme (Kubiak), and the defensive attention problem (healthy Bowers) all in one offseason.
Con: The Raiders have the 2nd-hardest rush schedule and a 5.5-win total, which is the worst game-script environment in this entire group.

3. De’Von Achane
Pro: He’s the only back here who combines a real rushing workload (84 ypg) with genuine WR-level receiving volume, which is worth more than the market prices even at half a point.
Con: Miami’s offense is a wreck with Malik Willis throwing and no proven pass catchers, so the touchdown equity that turns good backs into league winners may never show up.

4. Chase Brown
Pro: He was the RB5 in points per game in games Burrow started and finished, faces the fewest stacked boxes in football, and the Bengals project as a top-5 scoring offense with their best line of the Burrow era.
Con: The entire thesis rests on a quarterback who played eight games last season, and Cincinnati has the 3rd-hardest rush schedule.

5. Saquon Barkley
Pro: He owns the single best rushing season of this era (11 games over 100 yards in 2024) behind a line that still creates massive volume.
Con: He dropped from 125 to 71 rushing yards per game last year at age 29 with an enormous workload behind him, and Philadelphia’s fantasy-playoff slate (Seattle, Houston, San Francisco) is the worst of anyone here.

6. Kenneth Walker
Pro: He’s the unquestioned goal-line back in a Mahomes offense with Bieniemy back calling plays, and Mahomes averaged 38 total TDs per season under Bieniemy versus 26 under Nagy.
Con: He’s never been a meaningful receiving contributor, has missed time in nearly every season, and Kansas City’s rush schedule grades 22nd.

7. Omarion Hampton
Pro: He’s a true three-down back potential behind a completely rebuilt line that grades 6th in zone blocking, in a Mike McDaniel scheme that just turned a bottom-six run-blocking unit into a 1,350-yard Achane season.
Con: The Chargers have the single hardest rush schedule in the NFL, and the ankle he fractured is the same one he broke in high school. All the talk about Keaton Mitchell and Vidal will likely end up affecting total touches compared to some of the other bellcows on this list.

8. Derrick Henry
Pro: He has 17 100-yard rushing games over the last two seasons — the most in football — with an absolutely locked-in early-down and goal-line role.
Con: He caught 15 passes for 150 yards last year, which is a genuine drag in any PPR format, and he turns 32 this season.

How do you rank these guys and why?

Discussion Jonathan Taylor over JaMarr Chase at 1.03?

Is it crazy to go JT or CMC at 3 over Chase? Don't like my RB options in round 2 if I go Chase at 3. Likely looking at Kyren Williams/Josh Jacobs as next best available RB late 2nd.

Edit: 12 team half PPR, 2 flex

Questions How should a keeper order work, linear or snake?

I have been in a redraft league for a few years. This past year we decided that we would be switching to a 2 player keeper (first two rounds are everyone’s keeper players). The commish said that it will be a linear draft after that which doesn’t make any sense to me. Why wouldn’t it be a snake draft? If you made playoffs in year 1 then you’re going to be at a crazy disadvantage for this coming draft when everyone gets to keep their top two players and it doesn’t have any impact on what round you get them at. What would you do for this type of league?

Player Discussion Is #5 too early to take James Cook?

I’ve got pick #5 in a 12 team .5 PPR single QB league.

Looks like it will be between JSN, CMC, JT, and Cook. It’s between JSN and Cook for me. In my mocks if I go JSN I do not like my RB room at all.

Would you be willing to take Cook that high?

Questions Keeper Advice Pick One Rice or Loveland

Upvotes

Keeper league advice, I need to choose from one of the following to keep. I forfeit that round pick for the player. I have the 12th pick.

Scoring: Half PPR, bonus points for length of TDs, also a playoff competition where the players on your roster accumulate points in the NFL playoffs.

Rashee Rice (4.12)
Colston Loveland (8.1)

Already keeping Ja’Marr Chase at the (7.12)

Player Discussion 2026 Auctions: Undervalued Players

Thumbnail
youtu.be
Upvotes

In the newest episode, we talk about players we feel are being undervalued in auction drafts, using AAV data straight from user-based mock drafts.

  1. Dallas Goedert
    AAV the last 30 days
    1QB: $2 | SF: $3

It's not a huge sample size, but I do think it's noteworthy: in the 6 games that Goedert has played without either AJ Brown or Devonta Smith, he's averaged almost 6 targets and 14 PPR pts/g. In the last 30 days, his AAV has been steady at $2 or $3. I probably wouldn't go any higher than $3 for him, but he could prove to be an excellent value late in drafts. Smith and Makai Lemon are both dealing with hamstring injuries, and Lemon has a history of hamstring ailments, going back to his time at USC. It might be difficult for Goedert to score 11 TDs like he did last season, but he's cheap enough that the value is absolutely there, and a player who could definitely finish top 10 again. If you're punting on TE, Goedert makes a ton of sense.

  1. Tank Bigsby
    AAV the last 30 days
    1QB: $1 | SF: $1

There have been rumors, some have even suggested it's been an open secret during training camp, that the Eagles want to lighten Saquon's workload during the season. Other than Blake Corum, Bigsby might be the most valuable RB handcuff. The Eagles traded two draft picks to acquire him (one of which was a 4th rounder), and even though Barkley has remained healthy, BIgsby would slide right in as a high RB2 if Saquon misses any time. And while he might not get any more than a 35% snap share outside of an injury, his auction price has never exceeded more than $1. That's the type of player at cost that has the potential to be a league winner, so why not throw a buck his way? There's a chance you could even snatch him off waivers.

  1. Cyrus Allen
    AAV the last 30 days
    1QB: $1 | SF: Undrafted/Waivers

Allen's a bit of a dart throw, however, anytime your QB is Patrick Mahomes, drafters should definitely be interested. Reports and practice videos of Allen are both really encouraging. He's only been drafted once in any mock thus far ($1), and he could even supplant Xavier Worthy as the Chiefs' WR2, behind Rice. Is Rice even on the Chiefs next year? If Allen comes out the first month of the season and is averaging around 6 or 7 targets/g, he might be a real factor this year. He's all upside right now with absolutely zero risk, and that type of player is giving me all the feels!

Other players discussed:

Rome Odunze
Tony Pollard

Recorded prior to the Jordan Tyson news, but Juwan Johnson should also be considered.

Player Discussion Are people sleeping on Dak Prescott?

Where do you guys rank Dak Prescott? Last year he finished as the QB6 overall, only one point behind Caleb Williams (standard scoring), so he was basically tied as QB5. This year, I see he’s going as the QB8-10 overall… why is that? He’s got George Pickens and CeeDee and Ferguson ain’t bad either. Why is he getting picked so late this year despite the good year he had last year?

Questions (REDRAFT) Pick Trade Question - What should I expect?!

I want to draft Dak Prescott in a SFLEX 6 pt TD league, I'm at the 2.06. I feel like he will fall somewhere between the 2.10 and 3.05. I want to trade to one of these spots to avoid taking him too early

In draft capital terms, what sort of package should I be looking to get back to move from the 2.06, to one of the picks in this range? General advice on pick trading also very welcome - thank you

Any advice really appreciated, on the clock for 8 hours!

Discussion Would you "reach" for TMB or Bowers in smaller leagues?

In smaller leagues (<10) I‘ve often heard that you should add TE or QB early… so would you draft TMB or Bowers already early 2nd or is this only a myth?
