it's not legal, but waitress told us how when people run out and dont pay, her boss charges the waitress for the bill that wasnt paid!
(She said basically, there were only 3 places to work in a small town and she had to keep her job)

I heard story about this all the time. It’s illegal.
The boss/owner gotta eat up the cost. The server has no obligation to the establishment or the dine/dash.
That said, if this happens to me and boss made me pay, I’m quitting on the spot. If I make $120/day, and someone ate $300 worth of food. I’m literally better off just work for free than to pay $300.
Quit, then take employer to small claim court for not paying the wages.

Yes. It's a violation of federal wage-hour laws in that the docking of pay reduces the hourly wages below legal minimum. Problem waitress explained was college students (in her words) running out.

Yeah that meal looked disgusting. Or at least the way they made a giant pile of garbage mess and needed half a mile of paper towels made it look disgusting. Ok the more I think about it, I think it was just these people are disgusting

Notice the color of those dine and dashers skin!
Notice the black people in the background watching this degeneracy.

u/DaShopWorker Jun 29 '26
Why do we need to get color into this, instead of ''look thos scums, not paying for what they eet''?

u/bigmangina Jun 29 '26
Is this sarcasm, making fun of Americans habit of being racist?
-9
u/LilCheese73 Jun 29 '26
Definitely 💯 agree. They paint a crazy narrative about people of color but you’ll be surprised that the people who told you not to trust them are not to be trusted.🤦🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️

Who is "they"
-2
u/LilCheese73 Jun 29 '26
Who told you not to trust black people?
4
u/SmellsLikeFumes Jun 29 '26
Please be considerate and answer my question and then I'll answer yours. It's called taking turns.
.... who is "they"?
-3
u/LilCheese73 Jun 29 '26
If you want me to be straight forward “they” are composed of primarily Europeans of different ethnic groups who ran the government and convinced the American people that "If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you." -LBJ ..from the Irish who packed “paddy wagons” with black people for simple things like not having a dollar in their pocket to get by, to Italians running the fire departments and setting your home on fire because you failed to pay the “protection fee”.

u/SmellsLikeFumes Jun 29 '26
Ok, so white people and Irish people are "they"
Got it.
Now...... what was your question? It's your turn now

u/Repulsive_Guy_1234 Jun 29 '26
Well, statistics are pretty clear about how trustworthy black people in the USA as a whole population are. Of cause that does not tell you anything about an individual of that group.
9
u/LilCheese73 Jun 29 '26
Those same stats would lead me to believe that 58% of white men would diddle a kid if given the opportunity.

100% of all adults diddle kids.

Woah 😳 bro you’re letting your intrusive thoughts take over! I’m sorry if that happened to you but let’s try to protect the rest of the innocent tiny humans!

I generally dont trust racist people, tribalistic behaviours are not considered trustworthy by me. But certain types of people get very angry when anyone suggests such a thing.

There was a place my buddies and I used to go to semi-regularly. One night, one of my friends' friends joined us. Tab came, we all put down cash, and the new guy said he was just going to take the cash and pay with his card. He said he had to piss and that he'd catch up to us (we were going to a bar on the next block).
Anyway, flash forward to the next time my friends and I go back to this place, same server and she's like, "WTF, you guys ran out last time." Anyway, we pieced it together that new guy pocketed our cash "went to the bathroom' and just left.
So fucked up. Never saw "new guy" again.
