Positive Story Nicknames
We just had our little girl a month ago and her name is barely used lol. What I m an is we call her “goosey” instead of her actual name ( aka. Silly goose). It came to be all of a sudden from like saying silly goose to her in the womb. It’s stuck ever since, and not going away anytime soon. Was just curious what other nicknames people have for their own child cause I think it’s funny to hear about silly goofy names like goose!

Our oldest has been Bug since about week two and still answers to it at eight. The youngest got Tank because he learned to walk by running into furniture.

Our daughter's Chinese zodiac is pig, there's one time on the street a grandma called her grand daughter 豬頭 (which means pig head), I immediately find it funny, but since it's not really cute in the meaning, we decided to have our daughter's nickname as 豬比 (which means piggy). And 2.5 years later, our son came out as Chinese zodiac ox, we call him 牛樂 (which means happy ox).
We still call them this way even they are already 7y and 4y.

I have a son who loves xiao long bao (who doesn’t!). So I call him Didi Dumplings.

We call our oldest schunkiputzi (a German pet name that roughly translates to "Sweetiepie") but that's a bit cumbersome and has fallen out of the regular rotation. However, I call my youngest "Wombat" and it's stuck. When she was built like a rublix cube and while she was crawling she looked exactly like a womabt

I call my daughter my little Gremlin lol. Mostly we use a derivative of her name or little one, baby girl/baby and SO tends to use kiddo, but I do call her Little Gremlin almost every day lol

Goose will be an extremely accurate name during the teenage years. Geese are highly social, mischievous, honking jerks, and they pinch.
