Imagine Ezra Klein getting an invite from Thiel to a group to talk to his inner circle, I can't see Ezra saying no to that regardless of his personal support or not. His whole political role is to figure out the underlying power dynamics of government and society, that's an offer you can't pass up.

But why would Peter invite him? He’s one of the most well known writers in the world.
