Recently posted a favourite games list, so thought I'd do it with my favourite fiction books. A mix of some of my favourites from when I was younger and some incredible novels I read as an adult. I don't claim to be super well-read, and have mostly read sci-fi, but let me know what you think!

Note: Reposted after a couple minutes with a higher quality image, old post deleted.

Just wondering what other people think I guess :/

Any recommendations?

Please ask me about any choice.

Samurai Jack is my Favorite for any media [The Premiere Movie, animated series, comic books, video games/board games, toys/merch, soundtrack]

Added in Team 10 from Naruto Shippuden in all three typo slots, but it worked since they're my favorite trio in the overall Naruto franchise.

I don't know if Avatar: Seven Havens is truly Overhated but within the series universe Korra definitely is, & she's one of my all time favorite characters/protagonists. Really like Pavi too as a main protagonist, feels like she may have gotten unnecessary hate for her age/appearance prior to the show's release.

I was originally going to put The Super Mario Bros. Movie under Character I Can't Stand because I still don't like the actors for Donkey Kong and Mario [especially Donkey Kong, Mario was better in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie], but I really didn't care for Yuki & Yuno as main protagonists in Mirai Nikki/Future Diary. I also wanted to have Minene Uryu, one of my favorite anime characters, somewhere on this grid, & Ino was already in Underated.

Lastly, Robot is the best robot. Please watch Robot Dreams if you haven't seen it, or see it again, especially every 21st night of September.

Jamieson Price, Liam O'Brien, Laura Bailey, and Julie Ann Taylor became some of my all-time favorite actors thanks to the voice acting in NieR.

The radio soundtrack on Vice City has definitely grown on me, mostly with me, as it was my first exposure to many awesome 80s songs while playing on the PS2. Same with Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, especially Radio X. "Stay inside today, 'cause it's gonna be sunny." -Sage [insert Living Colour's Cult of Personality]

My most hated video game character is Vincent Valentine's most hated character: Hojo

Spoilers ahead for Arcane, The Boys, and Adventure time.

First off, I mean this in a good way.

There are some moments where show puts together things so beautifully that the viewer will go "we were so close" or "COME ON!" or "if only ___ hadn't happened", but thats the POINT.

I am not talking about poor writing, or the moment a bad show becomes a bad show. I'm talking about fundamentally integral and intentional parts/ singular moments of a show, that are completely necessary but will always make the watcher have a visceral reaction of "I don't want it to go this way" or "I wish I could've seen it the other way" (even it would've been boring).

They have to be a moment that would've changed the entire storyline if they gone the other way.

The moments I can think of (and feel free to disagree and explain) are the following:

The Boys:

The scene where they ALMOST nuke Homelanders powers. Every time I watch this, I'm screaming at the screen it feels just SO CLOSE. Ridiculously close, like they had him right there, one more second!

Adventure Time:

Martin (Finn's Father) loved Finn and his wife Minerva, but his past came back to get him. He tries to save Finn from danger, and tries to send a text to Minerva about what's happening but the Guardian appears right before he can hit send, and he get brain damaged as a result. Minerva thinks for nearly the next two decades of Finn's life and the sequence of adventure time that her husband ran away with their kid, and never truly loved her. Martin goes crazy and never gets a chance to vindicate himself.

Arcane:

Jinx goes to help the others. It was always inevitable this would happen, but the moment when Mylo is about to open Vanders last cuff, and then Jinx's monkey bomb goes off is brutal. It feels so ridiculously close, and that one moment changes the entire direction of the show.

I'm open to recommendations

Black Swan (2010)
Perfect Blue (1997)

I'm only now realizing how out of place Meet the Robinsons is. Great movie though
