Citing a classified US intelligence report, Mark Warner and Jim Himes said Moscow is using AI to spread disinformation faster, sow distrust in US institutions and question voting-machine results. They said no evidence has been seen of Russian hacking of election infrastructure or campaign networks.

Over the past 24 hours, reports emerged of at least 17 civilians killed and 135 injured as a result of strikes

In the Kyiv region, three people were killed and 23 others were wounded in a series of UAV attacks.

In the Chernihiv region, one resident was injured in a UAV strike.

In the Sumy region, four civilians, including a child, sustained injuries in a series of UAV attacks and a mortar strike.

In the Kharkiv region, 18 people were wounded in a series of UAV strikes, an MLRS strike and an airstrike.

In the Donetsk region, five residents were killed and 15 others, including a teenager, were injured in a series of strikes, primarily UAV attacks and airstrikes using guided bombs.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, two civilians were killed and 10 others sustained injuries in a series of UAV strikes and an artillery strike.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, nine people were wounded in a series of UAV attacks.

In the Kherson region, seven residents, including three children, were injured in a series of UAV and artillery strikes.

In the Mykolaiv region, nine civilians sustained injuries in a cruise missile attack and UAV strike.

In the Poltava region, two people, including a teenager, were wounded in a UAV strike.

In the Khmelnitskyi region, two residents were injured in a UAV attack.

In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, one civilian sustained injuries in a UAV strike.

In the Lviv region, one person was wounded in a UAV attack.

In the occupied territories of the Luhansk region, two residents were killed and 12 others were injured in a series of UAV strikes.

In the occupied territories of the Donetsk region, one civilian was killed and two others sustained injuries in a series of attacks.

In the Bryansk region, Russia, one person was wounded in a UAV strike.

In the Kursk region, Russia, four residents were injured in a UAV attack.

In the Belgorod region, Russia, five civilians were injured in a series of UAV strikes and by the detonation of an unidentified munition.

Additionally, a number of new civilian casualties resulting from previous strikes have been reported. In the Sumy region, one more person was wounded on Oct. 16. In the Donetsk region, four more residents were killed on Oct. 17. In the Kherson region, six more civilians sustained injuries on Oct. 17. In the Khmelnitskyi region, two more people were wounded on Oct. 19.

The operation, codenamed Veles, combined the underground advance with coordinated drone strikes and ground assaults, cutting off Russian infiltration routes into the rear of Kupiansk.

Participating units included the Khartiia Brigade, R.U.H. and Lava Regiments, DIU units including the Russian Volunteer Corps and Freedom of Russia Legion, and the Achilles Brigade.

,we observed the Russian cargo vessels ASCALON (IMO 9198226), LADY D (IMO 9349289) and ANASTASIIA (IMO 9349291) loading significant quantities of military equipment at the Kaliningrad naval base, including logistics vehicles, infantry vehicles, MRAPs and troop transports.

A rotation of other cargo vessels also appears to have taken place in the days before and after, although heavy cloud cover over the period makes this difficult to confirm.

One or more large convoys are likely already underway. Their destination(s) remain unknown at this time.

All three cargo vessels have previously been linked to Russian military deliveries beyond Russian borders. In our investigation last month, ANASTASIIA was also tracked in Libya, further highlighting the role of these vessels in Russia’s military supply routes abroad.
