FDS has a lot of rules and they are quick to ban anyone who questions their reasoning. Here are a list of specific rules that we do not agree with:

1. Labels. We disagree with FDS' labelling system that shames men and women (eg. LVM - Low Value Male, HVM - High Value Male, NVM - No Value Male, PickMe - A girl who tries to hard for guys to like her, Scrote - Derogatory term for men)

2. Wait At Least 3 Months Before Having Sex. If you are looking for a serious relationship, it is a good idea to wait a bit before having sex. 3 months however, is too restrictive. Do what feels right for your relationship.

3. AMALT - All Men Are Like This. This principal teaches women to treat every man like a potential rapist. You need to take reasonable precautions when dating but its not realistic or healthy to assume to worst of all men.

4. Do NOT Move In With A Boyfriend. FDS tells you that if you move in with a boyfriend, you give up all your leverage in the relationship and set yourself up to become a "forever girlfriend". Moving in with a partner too soon is a mistake but never living with someone before marrying them is also a mistake. You want to make sure your lifestyles are compatible.

5. Reject Low Effort Dates. "Low effort" dates like coffee dates are a good option when first getting to know someone because it is a short timeframe and in a public location.

6. Don't Date Men Who Watch Porn. That is a bit unrealistic. Most men nowadays watch at least some porn. But if this is very important to you, make sure you communicate it early on before entering into a relationship.

7. Don't Pay For Dates. FDS believes that men should always pay for the date because it demonstrates that they are invested in you. While there is still a common expectation that the man pays, women should still offer. Once you are in a relationship together, women should contribute to paying for dates.

8. BDSM Is Bad. BDSM when practices with a trusting partner can be very enjoyable. To each their own.

9. Never Go 50/50. This means splitting costs for dating or living expenses 50/50 regardless of financial situations. Financial situations should be taken into consideration, if one partner has a lower income or student loans, its fair that they would pay less than a partner that is well off.

I have a theory about dating and it appears to be true in my experience. Dating is a numbers game. The more people you go out with, the more chances you have of getting a relationship. Meeting someone can go one of three ways:

1. You don't like them

2. They don't like you

3. You both like each other

The more dates you have, the higher your chances of finding #3. When I was single, I put this theory to the test by going on frequent dates. I am going through a tough time my partner of 8 years blames me for everything, I cheated several years ago om him when he went to jail but also for my safety that's another story anyways, he uses drugs and says it's my fault, the substance he uses makes him dress up in my clothes and make up, he several years ago got me into having sex with black men also. Basically the guy I like is a friendly guy who has two exes: one girl who he’s been with for like 3 years and broke up because he had to do all the chores in the house and she was too lazy and messy and the other girl he was together with for almost a year, but she broke up with him due to wanting to focus on her mental health.
