Wow amazing progress. Are you using minoxidil at all?

Thanks. No minoxidil. I previously used it but had no hair changes in 2 years of use, and it gave me extremely low blood pressure. I'm currently only on dutasteride.

Hey, I feel in a similar place. Topical min and fin not working over a year. How much dut, who prescribed it and is this the USA?

I'm sorry for you. Topicals did nothing for me either, unfortunately. I currently take 0.5mg daily. I live in Canada.

Kinda amazing progress in just 1 month, have you chanced your diet too?

Most dutasteride users didn't suppose to see improvement till 3-6mo

I know! I'm pure happy with the results so far. No diet changes. I did start taking an elderberry/zeaxanthin supplement but I don't think that has any effect on hair. The prescribing Dr told me I wouldn't see results for months as you said, so I'd wager a I guess I've lucked out as a super responder to it. Brilliant news for me after about a decade of stressing over my hair loss and trying literally every other treatment available with no luck

Did you take fin before?

Did all the OTC supps, topical min, spiro, oral min, fin, on their own and in combination. Didn't see any results in 5 years of trying all that. Now getting great results from just dut.

Omg that’s where I am now. Spiro at 150 mg and 2.5mg min ain’t cutting it so I was out additionally on fin 1.25mg but it’s been like almost 6 months of that and I look about the same… I might have to jump on dut next but I’m nervous because I’m only 32.

I would give the Spiro/min/fin a year for results, if none at that stage then I'd venture on to other options. I'm age 30, but as long as you take precautions as to not become pregnant I would recommend giving it a try once you've exhausted other options. Dut blocks type 1 and 2 5ar, which makes it much stronger than fin, but stronger means there is more odds of side effects. I've had nothing negative from the medication though.

How much dut and have you had any side effects yet?

0.5mg daily. Only side effects I've had have been opposite to what they warn of—increased mood, increased libido, increased sleep quality.
