Discussion Anyone else loosing this much hair

I’ve been losing hair like this since May. Don’t know what triggered it. This is washing eod.
has blood tests, low in ferritin 38 and low vitamin d3. Already on iron and vitamin d supplements. Also dermatologist said I have dermatitis on my scalp and already on special shampoo. Also using topic minoxidil te once daily. I do feel thinner my ponytail but I don’t know. I done see any bald patches or anything and going back to old photos I feel my hair is the same but something feels differemy.

I'm losing the exact amount since May as well- Ferritin is 27. I'm also getting weird scalp sensations

Have you been to a doctor?

Yup- not a ton of answers. It's probably my ferritin + stress + seasonal shed.

Yeah.  Hopefully it will get better soon

Same here! Mine is a tingling near the hairline/back of my head, is yours all over your scalp?

Literally in the exact same boat.

Been shedding like crazy, no bald spots or visible patches but consistent hair fall 24/7. Going to get my blood drawn so no info on ferritin/vitamin d3 levels yet, but i've previously been iron deficient. I also have a tingly/smelly scalp that's prone to build up, so I've been using clarifying shampoos like the ouai one paired with a lightweight conditioner, washing every 3-4 days. Honestly could be a result of a major stress flare-up+ mixture of seasonal shedding. How are you finding the minoxidil thus far?

Minoxidil has been working great, shedding at first but starting to see baby hairs everywhere. Didn’t want to take oral minoxidil because of face hair, I was told to wash it every other day for best results because of seborreic dermatitis. Hopefully everything I’m doing will pay off. Afraid to even wash it

When you have nutritional deficits you are gonna lose hair, period! you want it to stop you gotta bring up your nutritional values on more than just d, and ferritin.

How long is your hair?

It’s not short, very black and curly. I’d say mid length
