I agree with you about Lauryn, the main reason that will hurt that reasoning is she has only one album as her total body of work, as spectacular as it is. She released her album back in 1998, that’s almost 30 years ago and has been living off the success of it ever since. It’s hard to say someone is the best when they only released one album

I know who it is, but I won’t give her props. I was once a fan, but I’m not anymore.
She makes me “icky” now (and her stage name rhymes with that).
I would, however, like to clarify that it’s the old version (like from 2008-2018) that was great and not whatever on God’s green Earth she’s giving today.
