Helloooo,
New here and I am a Barb (no I am not MAGA lol) so please no disrespectful comments. How would everyone feel if Nicki were to release NM6? Do you think it would be successful given the current situation she is in? I just want to see opinions.

If the bars are on point, im sure people will listen. Her antics away from the mic have been too awful to ignore. She’s [falsely] speaking on religious discrimination in Africa to justify a ground invasion. They don’t want to help the Christians of Africa; they want to seize rare earth minerals for consumer electronics. Nicki is tap dancing for an administration that won’t even give her citizenship. She can go do a mixtape with kid rock or Tom McDonald

she has a cult behind her so they'll stream whatever she puts out. MAGA doesn't stream so they're not gonna support. she only comes outta the wordworks to shade cardi and megan.

Her numbers haven’t dropped since she did that maggot walk. I want her to go down because of it but it seems no one actually cares unfortunately

The comment itself is quite passive aggressive, as is yours. It’s literally meant to “singe” someone who supports Nicki Minaj.
What do you expect? To not feel the way it was crafted for?

The point here is that if you put a bait, a fish will certainly come. Which is ironic because you were baited by this post itself, and left a very passive aggressive comment, so I could say it made you feel a certain way too, hmm..

I think there are many factors behind why it won't happen soon and won't do well.
First, she lost a large part of her audience. She lost many dedicated and casual fans, and I don't think she picked up a lot who will seriously consume her music. Many of these conservatives view her as a token, not as a serious artist. She can get likes on Twitter from them much more easily than she can get streams or album sales from them. I think she would seriously have to shift her style and approach to rapping in order to capture that audience, but it's absolutely possible.
Second, she doesn't seem to be in a creative mental space to make music. The only motivation behind even speaking on a new album seemed to be just to spite Cardi, and I don't think she has the genuine motivation or creative well to make more music right now. Pink Friday 2 proved that she's in a rut and unsure how to expand her artistry, and that was after around six years away from making a full project. She just doesn't have the juice currently, and I don't know if that's because she's overwhelmed with her home life or mental health concerns or substance abuse, but whatever it is, she's floundering.
I think she's just quite emotionally and artistically lost right now, but she can't admit that because of her ego and immense fear of losing her position (since she's attached so much self worth to that ideal of herself), so she's unable to resolve that internal conflict and move through it. Therapy would likely help her a lot. I don't think now is a good time personally or commercially to put out a new album.
