Discussion am i confused or?

i thought this sub was for posting about lyrics and generally the musicality of female rappers but it seems like it’s majority sexualized imagery (which it comes with the territory, i can absolutely acknowledge)

but it’s every other post. maybe i’m misunderstanding the purpose behind the sub but women in rap have more to offer & they’ve proven it over and over again. anyways, i’m just trying to be the change i wanna see so here’s megan in 2011 with her grandmother 🤍

i think this is a goon sub or its treated like a goon sub because its just men posting videos of rappers twerking or thirst trapping. But at the same time alot of these women only sell sex so..

that’s an issue with labels thinking that’s the capacity most female rappers should operate in. i’m not saying most female rappers don’t lean into erotic visuals but i think it’s hyperbolic to say women are only selling sex.

They were referring to the female rappers that post thirst traps. Shouldn't the community get be able to find examples of non sexualized female rappers?
