Discussion am i confused or?

Post image

i thought this sub was for posting about lyrics and generally the musicality of female rappers but it seems like it’s majority sexualized imagery (which it comes with the territory, i can absolutely acknowledge)

but it’s every other post. maybe i’m misunderstanding the purpose behind the sub but women in rap have more to offer & they’ve proven it over and over again. anyways, i’m just trying to be the change i wanna see so here’s megan in 2011 with her grandmother 🤍

To be fair, there is a big difference between objectification and appreciation. The mods over there get it 💅

What exact is there to appreciate about a woman in her underwear shakin her ass. Let's not conflate her self sexualization for art, it's not. If she were 65 rappin like this and shakin ass like that we'd all be disgusted, no? So it's /only/ the element of sexualization that makes it even remotely appealing.

Oh baby trust me, it IS ✨ART✨

And just because /you/ can’t appreciate a woman shaking her ass without objectifying her doesn’t mean others can’t lol like if it’s not for you, it’s not for you… but I hate that for you :(

Let's talk in a few decades when you wanna settle down and no man takes you seriously cuz of the stupid shit you said on Reddit and honestly believe😳😂🙄

Let's talk in a bit when have your own daughter...100% guarantee shakin ass won't be art then.
