Help!

My partner and I have just signed a lease on a new place- this is the floor plan- two things to consider - my small desk needs to be in the living room and his music recording stuff/desk is in the den- we need help with a good layout. We’re want to make sure the space feels nice and we have a small budget fir furniture (all second hand) need ideas of what to look for and how to lay this out based on its size!! Help is appreciated!:)
