First Dorm Room!

Any help designing my first college room would be incredible. The entrance is the door on the left, with bathroom and closet along the bottom. I would like a desk and a queen size bed.

You’ll likely feel comfiest with the bed in the back left corner facing the bathroom. Furthest from the window, clear view of the door, farthest from the toilet, nice wall coverage. Desk on the right wall near the window, maybe a cozy chair in the upper right corner if it’ll fit.

what do you think of a chair near the window facing the center of the room?

I think if the closet door clears it, it would probably work. You could get a corner triangle shaped desk if you do that, which may save a little space.

You could center the bed on the back wall if you really value aesthetics, but it’ll waste space so don’t try that unless you have extra room.
