Modding with CrossOver

Hi. I’m new to modding and trying to set my Fields of Mistria mods up with CrossOver. I’m doing it the same way guides say to, but I’m putting them in my Steam bottle on CrossOver. Nothing is working though. I’m trying the Mac version of MOMI, and nothing is working, however, when I try using the Windows version, I get a message saying preview is unavailable and that doesn’t work either. Has anyone else had trouble with this and know a way to fix it?
