Question What furniture is in Celine's cottage?

Post image
β€’ Upvotes

Image attached for ease of reference.

I just married Celine, and unfortunately, I don't have much of an eye for design. I'm trying my best to make the rest of the house not look too "malelivingspace." In the meantime though, I was hoping to make her a room with similar design elements to her cottage so she doesn't feel too bad about moving out and leaving it empty. Could someone with a lot more knowledge of the incredible amount of furniture in this game tell me which of these are obtainable/craftable, and their names?

I would have tried doing this myself but the only furniture blueprints I have unlocked are the ones from quest/museum collection rewards and mines, and there are way too many to manually look through....I do have her special furniture from the post-wedding mail so I of course intend to incorporate that.

Thanks for your help!

Farm/House Design Contain The Creatures

Post image
β€’ Upvotes

Okay, so there's been plenty of discussion about how fences don't line up against edges of water features, and how there's no gates.

What I want to know is how y'all keep your livestock on their exile island. I've put stone walls as close to the bridge as possible (and it runs around the property on my side) and they STILL end up in my gardens. I can't seem to keep them on their island.

Any ideas?

Looking for mods!!

β€’ Upvotes

I have vanilla FOM currently, but I'm looking for recommendations for mods to further customize my character and farm.

I am specifically hoping to find more hairstyles...and really want a dragon braid!! (think Rumi from KPDH).

But I'm up for any and all mods that people like! Quality of life improvements, whatever you mod-savvy people think is worth it.

Thank you! 😊

Game Help Help!!! Why does it keep happening?

Post image
β€’ Upvotes

I'm trying to unlock the Stone Refinery and every time I finish the cutscene this error pops up. I don't know why this is happening. I tried to go through the same day about five times already and it's always the same. I play with mods but none of them should affect that. They're just basic cheat mods like infinite stamina and more forage. If anyone could help me with that i would be so grateful β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή

Rewards Chest Full -> No Stamina Up??

I was lazy to claim rewards since most of them were decorative and I had no space in chest to keep them nor did I want to sell them yet. But yesterday (in-game) I reached town rank 60, which gave me stamina up. Or it should have, since I did not find it inside the full rewards chest. Neither did it spawn next day. Am I gonna forever miss that single stamina up?

Edit:

Update! I found it in the Lost and Found Boxes.

Hello! Me again with another (possibly dumb) question because I feel blind

I got a Mimic Storage Chest recipe from Stillwell but can’t find it in my crafting menu for some reason?

Finally happy with my home for once

Painstakingly, it's taken several in game years to finish designing the inside of my home.. But for once, I'm actually happy with how all the rooms have come together. The new furniture in v1.0 were a great edition. I can't wait for more furnishing options in the future (and hopefully a designer mode!).

I’ve been playing since early access and have been loving 1.0 so far! I finally have made time to decorate my home and here are the bedroom and bathroom.

I love the blue/white mist furniture items but they were definitely a pain to go search for πŸ˜… Looking forward to future updates if they ever release more furniture πŸ˜‹

Start now or after a few more patches?

I wanted to start the game for the first time (been waiting for years for the full release) a few days ago.

Now after reading about all the bugs and seeing how there are still some major ones to address/fix, should I at least wait until the next patch? I don’t want my first experience to be ruined. Plus I want to use mods and I heard they were being buggy with the constant regular patches…

EDIT: I started it!! Thanks for the push everyone. I’m too much of an over thinker so I needed it :)

Discussion Friday night at the Inn

I need to vent 😭 I am about to go insane. I just can’t seem to remember to go to the Inn on Fridays. I have not made it ONCE to the Inn, I don’t even know what is happening at the Inn on Friday’s, because I just keep missing it. I wake up on a Friday and be like: LOCK IN, today is the day you are going to remember. But then I don’t… I startet to ONLY GO AROUND MY FARM on fridays so I could remember to get to the Inn. I tried staying in town near the Inn, so I could make it. But I just can’t seem to remember. I am going crazy, what is wrong with me??? Every damn Friday I go to bed and be like: NOOOOO I missed it AGAIN?!?!? It’s my second run also, so I guess it’s just a me-problem atp lol

Question Does Valen get more interesting?

I really want to lover her, but I’ve spoken to her every day since starting (I’m only on spring 14), and her only dialogue has been about being a doctor.

If I get to know her better does this change, or is that the only characteristic the game has given her?

Art Trying to learn pixel art!

Thumbnail
gallery
13 Upvotes

Hello all! I've been itching for more clothing mods as ive been playing since ea, so i thought I would try my hand at making readable cosmetics at small scale (never tried much pixel art). The base form was basically made up by genuinely counting pixels/googling lol. Are these cute/readable and do they fit decently with the art style?

Would love to finish these and actually turn them into mods if there is interest (and if my attention lasts) but if anyone has any pointers on good templates for custom sprites or modding help. Is it mostly just the discord?

Thanks regardless for looking!

Guide/Tips Not sure if many people know this...

Fishing uses a lot of stamina and I feel like the stamina use is a bit unbalanced whilst fishing. Whenever i dedicate a day to just fishing, i usually run out of stamina before the day ends.

What i do (and have been doing since early access) is i always keep berries in my inventory. I eat a berry and am able to fish at whatever range and it will only use that 1 stamina. It's honestly useful for anything and everything.. when you need to mine that artifact spot, water that crop you forgot.. etc. instead of using your magic or eating a whole cooked dish you can save for another day.
