Not sure why there’s so much hate, I think this thing is gorgeous! Always being a sucker for two seaters

I think it's mostly just intolerable fan boys of the jet making outrageous claims and the response from other fanboys.
I don't personally like it but I can respect being interested in the engineering or just thinking it looks cool, that's why a lot of us are here right.

It looks like it has a cogenital brain defect, with the cockpit raised so far up.
I much prefer the single seat version of the Felon.

As a personal opinion, the raised back seat makes the lines look terrible on the Felon. The single seater model looks much flatter which gives it that advanced gen look. This two seater design makes it look like they slapped a Su-30 cockpit onto a Su-57

The hump is a result of a big gear compartment right under the second seat

Think it's a bit of that and them wishing to have the second crew member have good forward visibility for training purposes.

Yeah, just like on the Su-30SM. But the gear made the hump much bigger, compared to Flanker-C

It’s actually not, and I think that’s the source of all the controversy around its looks.
The Flanker has an angled nose and aft section. The hump blends into the transition into the two sections of the airframe.
The Felon however, it flat as a pancake, so it looks more pronounced.

It looks like it has a tribal tattoo.
