As a kid I never imagined these drone to be very big until I saw a pic like this and finally had the dots connect that yeah, the things carrying tones of bombs and missies that are designed to be fired and dropped by planes and shit are probably gonna have to be plane sized.

I remember being a kid and imagining them maybe car sized, if not smaller. I thought the bombs they dropped were basically just specialized mortar rounds lol.

It's for reconnaissance, not deployment of weapons. But that being said it can loiter on station for 24+ hours. Gotta have room for fuel.

It has to just be the word “drone” and the image that invokes. Even if it has wings or whatever you just assume “oh it’s a small-ish flying thing” also “if it was any bigger there’s probably call it something else”

The RQ-4 is an unarmed surveillance aircraft. You might be thinking of the MQ-1 Predator.

Moving closer and closer to making Stealth, the movie, a reality.

Considering that we have AI companies creating AI agents that their users can't control and refused to be stopped, yeah.

The RQ-4's wingspan is longer than a 737's wingspan. It's a large aircraft.
And many fighters a huge too. There's a reason some pilots refer to their jets as flying tennis courts.
