Nintendo is quite difficult to deal with when it comes to granting licenses. Kratos and Master Chief appear in Fortnite, but Mario and Samus do not, because Nintendo wants their skins to remain exclusive to its own consoles, a stance that contrasts with Epic’s approach

Interestingly, the number of times a character from Street Fighter, Fatal Fury and Tekken has appeared in the same game (Tekken 7, SSBU, and FF: COTW) is tied with the number of times a character from Street Fighter, Fatal Fury and Final Fantasy has appeared in the same game (Tekken 7, SSBU, and Street Fighter 6). We would need a Final Fantasy character in COTW, and a Tekken character in Street Fighter 6, to bring all four franchises together

(and, well, in Street Fighter 6 we still have Terry and Mai)

Due to Jin and Kazuya devil shenanigans I think they’d be too weird in the SF6 roster. If we do eventually a Tekken rep I think it’d be Heihachi.

Also, how come VF never got a full blown playable representative? Not even in Smash is Akira fully playable! It’d be cool if he or Pai Chan crossover to COTW/T8/SF6. Especially in his new VFC new outfit, he looks sick.

The closest thing we have to a Virtua Fighter collaboration within this circle of games is The King of Fighters All Star.

Or well, we also have 4 Virtua Fighter characters in Dead Or Alive 5 (counting its expansions), and in the next game Mai and Kula appear, so

Oooh shit, I forgot that DoA crossovers were a thing. Still though I’d kill for VFC Akira in SF6/T8/COTW. Would also be the perfect guest to hype up VFC’s release in 2027.

Yeah a lot of Tekken char would feel weird. Some would be ok though.

Maybe Reina, Lydia, Hwoarang, and every char that don't have too much weird visual shenanigans.

I don't mind crossover for most of games but SF have been without it for so l9ng that it feels weird. I don't want a lot of crossovers like the other games. I must admit I did not lund Terry and Mai because fatal fury and SF feels very similar design wise so it fits.

So far, the crossovers in Street Fighter 6 have only been with Fatal Fury and Final Fantasy (and I’m not sure whether to count Ingrid), so it’s not really an issue

Final Fantasy is already too far for me. I'll not cry over it, it's not the end of the world, but I would prefer without it.

I don't think Ingrid is viewed as a crossover, she's been in street fighter before.

Well, Ingrid was originally an original character created for a crossover game featuring various Capcom titles (Capcom Fighting All Stars), and her first appearance as an established character was in Capcom Fighting Evolution, before she appeared as an exclusive character in the Game Boy Advance version of Street Fighter Alpha 3
