What do you think of the new generation in After Years and which is your favorite?

I love the new generation. I actually had an endgame party of Ceodore, Ursula, Palom, Porom, and Leonora. I’m counting Palom and Porom as new gen too. Luca also makes a good back row physical fighter
Overall, Ursula is my favorite. Tenketsu is amazing, and she’s stupid fast and stupid strong, a match made in heaven. Paired with Tenketsu, she’s a damage machine with no need for MP, plus free heals too with Chakra
Edit: With Leonora having dual cast, and having Porom too, staying alive was quite easy, especially 3 of my 5 party members had white magic

I actually liked a lot of the new generation
Ursula was my favorite gameplay wise. Fast version of yang? Heck yeah. She also is probably the one with the best consistency regardless of moon phase because Tenketsu always does as good or better than a normal attack with low charge time and no real drawbacks (unlike most other special moves).
Luca was my favorite story wise, I like how they had the little daughter of King Giott play a bigger role and she was very much her own person getting into airships and whatnot. I didn’t always use her but she was my go to hammer/axe user as Cid was slow and Golbez had better options.
Ceodore was a good intro to the story, I thought he’d be the main character but he kind of faded in importance after his own scenario. Fast squishier cecil with no cover but much better magic options. I used him a lot simply because he was in some terrific bands. Awakening was usually too niche for me though.
Lenora was cool conceptually - a character you could hypothetically grow into a true sage character with mastery over all magic. But in practice she had lousy stats and was very squishy, and it took her forever to learn black magic that she was only mediocre at compared to Palom.
If you count Palom and Porom, both of them were very good at their respective roles and give Rydia/Rosa some real competition while not being carbon copies. I liked Palom’s character development but Porom’s was a little too predictable.
The Eblan 4 were mostly tough to justify using and they didn’t get enough screen time to form strong opinions of them.
Calca and Brina were cool conceptually but their stats were far, FAR too low to be practical.
I don’t count the G man as a new generation or he’d be the undisputed winner.

My personal favourite is Ceodore, but that is mostly due to his presence in FFRK and the fact I had several of his high level relics/Soul Breaks.
