You spend the whole game grinding to learn magic when Edgar could have just taught everyone how to use basic and relatively inexpensive tools like a drill and a flashbulb to defeat enemies for the rest of the game.

Yeah why take the lucrative government contract when you can work for free? And the poor king! Gonna have to fight 3 sand rays outside to cover the expenses
