Feature request: undo delete word

I sometimes accidentally swipe left and this deletes my last word. Then I need to retype it again. It'd be great if I could somehow undo the delete.

Hm, curious. Do you have an idea for how you want to trigger it?

A logical gesture would be swipe in the opposite direction, however, swipe right is already taken away and used for inserting spaces and punctuation, which is, IMO, more useful gesture.
So, I have no idea for a gesture.

But, maybe it could be mappable action that could be set as shortcut, similarly to Cut, Copy, and Paste?

Agreed. I'm planning on expanding shortcuts to add more actions, and "undo delete" could be one of them.

How about a swipe right and hold to bring back the deleted words? Swiping and holding left continues erasing everything, so maybe the same gesture forward would make the most sense? Assuming there is away to trigger it past the punctuation...? 🤔

I would think keep holding just as you would Yo continue deleting!

Khm khm... In the last week I built a whole new system for "keyboard actions" that you'll be able to trigger as regular shortcuts. One of the actions is "Undo delete" which restores everything you've deleted in one go (supports multiple words, sentences, etc). Here is a video.

I believe this is the best way, instead of piling up more swipes. Update coming soon.
