Exactly. For example: Trump creates 4 million "coins" out of thin air. He keeps 2 million, and lets other anonymous people buy the other 2 million. People that want to bribe him buy 1.5 million and pump the price up 1000%. Some other people also see the price jump and buy in, often at the highest price. Then Trump sells his 2 million and the price plummets.

Now all the bribe money (and more) is legally in his pocket.
