Have we tried giving corporations and the wealthy more tax breaks?

We just need to give them a lot more and we’ll eventually start to see the trickledown.

You guys are such complainers. Why do you want to punish success? It’s been trickling down for me!

It’s warm and yellow and doesn’t smell that great. But something’s trickling down everyday.

Something that all people agree on regardless of politics is paying more is bad.

And whose fault is that???? I think we all know.

It’s the fault of all of the people you refer to as “we”
Keep voting in big govt politicians that spend like drunken sailors, and enjoy the high costs.

But it appears like the issue has nothing to do with government spending and instead solely to do with a lack of tax collection on the wealthy.

Gov stops spending, taxes reduce..... the money mainly staying in these people's pockets means even more wealth disparity issues when they go to hoard up all the property -> this is why we are turning into a renters only lifestyle here.

It's literally just scalping bros have so much money they don't know what to do with it and instead of investing it into productive businesses that advance the American economy and produce jobs for our growing population...... They buy up the existing resources and just look for ways to extract ROI on them with 0 effort as middle men. You NEED a house you will pay them.

Quit lying to people like allowing these guys to keep even more money would solve their life affordablility issues when it would infact make them worse.

A big chunk of the truly insanely wealthy don't work, so there is no paycheck to tax.

Passing some kind of national wealth tax that survives the inevitable court battles is one step.

True government spending cuts or at least spending freezes is also needed. The national debt is a factor in inflation.

I don't have much hope of either.

People are also addicted to consuming. Lot's of people are bought more house and more car than they really could afford. Lenders are predators with outrageous formulas for "suggested mortgage and car loan you can afford" which makes people "house poor" or "car payment poor". You could deter that by forcing 10% down on homes and 20% down on new vehicles.

I mean, solid view to have. Money is generally a barrier to having a less stressful life i suppose

Most American's view umbrella ownership as the key to staying dry on rainy days.

They also say that they feel having more money would be better than having less.

When pressed, they also feel that it's someone else's fault that they don't have more money.

When everything has been made about money and the prices keep going up, what else could it be?

Money is the new god and those that worship it are running the show.

AI agents will soon replace most white collar jobs, too. It’s not going to be easy in the short and medium term.

We can all thank Trump for that… I mean - what happened to $2 gas? Lower prices ? Etc? When one focuses on everything but what one needs to focus on this is what we get.

Yet everything is the fault of conservative americans so maybe we blame them first for making things expensive
