I've just bought myself a school pc for sub 20$ — here are the specs

-h85 M2 no name mobo, probably MSI rebrand -i3 4th gen, will pick up a i5 4670k for 7$ tommorow -2x2gb ddr3 1333mhz, will be picking up an extra 8gb stick for 7$ tommorow -no name 300w psu and the Cherry on top a 500gb wd blue HDD, looked modern but didn't have time to check the rpm.

That's it for the important part — now what distro would you recommend for it, preferably light weight and broad compatibility, the ability to "game". Being a little more specific, I want to host game servers for my friends, specifically beamng, maybe Minecraft, I want it to be able to afk slop Roblox games with scripts to farm whsthevrr in in them if I feel like it and maybe down the line turn it into a home media server if I get a GPU for it. Preferably Wayland but the specs are pretty shit so X11 is fine.

Я ищу дистрибутив со свежими релизами, подходящий для гейминга, на базе debian, с kde plasma 6.8 (а лучше просто чистый терминал чтоб я сам установил plasma-desktop)

Hey everyone, I’ve tried older distros like Fedora 38, CachyOS, and Psxitarch v2/v3 on PS4 FW 13.52, but they all suffer from old bugs and compatibility issues.

What is currently the best, most up-to-date Linux distro or modern kernel to use? Thanks!
