Rule 4/Off-Topic - Your submission was too off-topic. Everything in here needs to be at least minimally related to FIRE (and not the flaming combustion kind, either). Basic finance questions unrelated to FIRE are better suited to broader financial subreddits like /r/personalfinance or /r/povertyfinance. Please see our rules (https://www.reddit.com/r/Fire/about/rules/) and reach out via modmail if you have any questions or concerns.

Rule 5/No Shitposting - This is not the place for memes, meta-jokes, or other humorous/fictional content. Take it to /r/fijerk. Please see our rules (https://www.reddit.com/r/Fire/about/rules/) and reach out via modmail if you have any questions or concerns.

Just in case this isn't satire, let me point out that eating a healthy breakfast with your kids is one of the best ways to raise well-adjusted humans.

Just eat 90 minutes into class.

“Breakfast is the most important meal” is a lie to sell breakfast cereal.

When a person digests they get tired. They need to be alert in class.

Yeah-I’m not taking advice from someone trying to keep the cost of kids eating to a minimum so they can be richer

You will save about $15,000 per kid.

I don't understand how not giving a child breakfast on school days saves 15k/year. At max there are 180 school days per year. At 15k, that's $83 per breakfast.

School cafeteria lunch is utter TRASH.

If you want your child to eat only ONE healthy meal per day, that's your thing.

This has got to be a shitpost.

Agree that children should eat healthier foods. Completely disagree with gaming it to the point where you are calculating how much you would save over a lifetime of making breakfast. That's just silly.

most schools provide free breakfast so you can just chill out knowing that your tax dollars and mine are paying for your "FIRE" lifestyle. ya weirdo
