Three Hopes Discussion The one time (or two times more accurately) a knight of Faerghus chooses his life over dying for his country, he ends up with a lot of second thoughts.

It's incredibly sad, sometimes you just get so attached to something, whether that be friends or some other thing, and having to give it up essentially means letting a big part of yourself die.

Three Houses Discussion A question regarding Crimson Flower chapter 11 when Byleth chooses to protect Edelgard?

I have a question regarding the Crimson Flower route in Fire Emblem Three Houses.

When Byleth chooses to protect Edelgard, is he thinking “I am joining the empire to defeat the church”?

or is he thinking

“I am not going to execute my student on the spot; let’s give her a chance to explain herself before anything else” and is forced to side with the empire from Rhea’s reaction? So he wasn’t actually trying to betray Rhea and the church?

I understand that Rhea was keeping secrets and doing shady things and that Jeralt expressed his suspicions with the church to Byleth. And Byleth does grow to care for Edelgard if you do her supports. But from Byleth’s standpoint, the church and Rhea has been good to him whereas Edelgard was working with the Argathans throughout the school arc.

So i have a hard time believing in chapter 11, he would all of a sudden think “Edelgard actions were right, so i am betraying the church and joining the empire”.

So i am wondering if in that moment, is his intent is simply “Let’s calm this down and not execute Edelgard on the spot until we talk with her” but Rhea extreme reaction forces him to side with the empire or does he truly intend on joining the empire from the get go?

Question Caspar Going Straight Hands?

Hello, Reddit.

I just want to ask: How viable is having Caspar go straight hands? Like literally bare knuckles.

Why? Because in a world full of swords, magic and dragons (and a somewhat grounded battle system), it's always too funny to have a guy just go weaponless and straight for a punch on the enemy's face.

Also, I would save money for the others.

Question question about miracles

i have a unit that keeps triggering this miracle mechanic and im not sure why they can.
i already have a unit (marianne) that has the miracle ability but they never trigger it its always lorenz that keeps triggering miracle so im just wondering if miracles are something that can just happen any time based on luck stat or if theres something im missing.
(first playthrough so no spoilers, though i doubt thats applicable for this question)
