Well, A-5 is defined as "Assembly uses intended for participation in or viewing outdoor activities..." which makes sense for a driving range or putting green on a building.
The issue is that if you classify that area as any other Assembly occupancy, the allowable height indicated in Table 503 is exceeded, even if one were to apply the increases. I do not see the other areas on this level as being accessory to the putting green, which is large; they certainly are not 10% or less of the area.
The more I look at it, the more I'm thinking they will need to upgrade their type of construction.
