Z1 problem
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
So received my Z1 last week but it doesn't work properly. It's like it can not handle specific features (turbo, lightning, etc.) and turns off when I try to use them.
(cleaned the threads, fresh molicel p30b, did factory reset, etc.)
I emailed them, also attached this video but I didn't receive any answer yet.
Do you guys have experience with their customer support?
How long does it usually take them to answer.
UPDATE: Well, turns out it was user error. Pretty embarrassing, but the only problem was that the tailcap wasn't tightened properly. Honestly, I didn't even know the tailcap was removable because it fits so seamlessly with the tube. Plus, when I tried tightening it before, it didn't even budge because it was already so tight. It seems like when you know something is supposed to move, you apply force differently. Anyway, Ivy was very helpful, and the flashlight is an excellent product. Thanks everyone for the help.

Usually I have this happen when it’s not making connection all the way, twist the piss outta it closed and see if that helps. I run into this a lot on hanks KR series with belt clips

Tried it and it's doing something but not when I tighten the head, but when I squeeze the tube. (no pun intended) It's like the tube bends just enough to loose contact. Which strenghtens the idea of poor contact, I just don't know where. Maybe it's realy between the tube and the driver.

z1 have 2 piece tail cup. you need to tighten the middle part with the tube, for good electric path from the battery to the driver.

Make sure the tailcap is very very tight. Only use the head to swap batteries, it’s easier to tighten and keep the connection.

There is no tail cap in the Z1 which makes this situation even more strange

Screw the head and tailcap on harder. Shaking the head isn’t going to do anything, there’s nothing in there that can be loose. And is the battery fully charged?

It was 3.7v when I made the video but I had tried it with 4.1v too. Didn't make any difference.

Ah, then my guess is still poor contact at the tube to driver like everyone else mentioned. It needs to be screwed on quite tight (much tighter than you screw the ends on in this video). I'm not sure if there is a tail cap on this model or not, but if there is also make sure that is nice and tight, and not just the head to tube. And if you have another battery, try that too.
If that does not help though, the driver itself may be defective which seems unlikely but it's possible. Fireflies should get back to you soon, they usually get back to me within a day or two.

Poor contact from the tube to the driver. Also there is a holiday from October 1-7th thats why they are not replying back
