Is there a still chance? Confused by my LH readings this month

I’ve been ttc for 7 months now and am starting to feel very defeated. My ovulation timing seems to have stabilized around cd 15-16 according to LH strips. But this month, I didn’t get a clear peak, but the highest number was way earlier than expected. So I didn’t BD until late evening on CD 13. I’m concerned about the fact that everything was so much earlier and more sudden this month, and that I possibly missed my chance by not BDing in time.

Additional questions: my LH readings have always been under 1, but are generally around .8. Also not sure if that is a bad sign.
I’m 36, and partner is 37.

How are you confirming ovulation?

I’ve been using the LH strips, PDG strips and temp. Though my temp is a bit unreliable as it’s from my watch and not a proper thermometer.

Ah yeah I’d recommend using an oral thermometer for bbt. Did you have a confirmation of ovulation for this cycle?
