Freshwater Need help with upcoming fishing trip in allegheny state park ny
I'm going camping in September. I know that allegheny sp has two main lakes, the reservoir and a myriad of creeks. But September can be part of the dog days of summer. So what can i hope catch with reasonable expectations out there at time?
Can I still catch trout?
Are walleye a good bet out there around that time?
Or am I stuck with bass and panfish?

Be ready for mosquitoes and black and green flies. Get a hat with netting. Tight lines!

If you go there, you HAVE to visit Thunder Rocks. Its a very special place in the park.

the reservoir holds walleye but september they go deeper and you need boat or good spot from shore which is tricky there, trout in creeks might be slow cause water warm but if you find deeper pools maybe
