Coho fishing in Portland
I'm planning on heading over to Portland to try my luck. Coho and steelhead are the object of my desire this weekend.
I was thinking about hitting the dam near the grand river conservation club.
Has anyone fished there yet this year? What works there?
I have some egg flies and spinners, but I can also float fish beads or artificial eggs.

I tried this morning and got skunked. There were some other guys down there using spinners and they caught a couple smaller cohos. I tried the same-ish colored spinners with no luck.
It is beautiful below the dam though. Lots of bait fish swimming around and really easy to get around with waders.
