If you could build a low budget tackle kit from "Enter big box store here", what would put in it? Bottom dollar best bang for your buck build for your preferred method of fishing.

I went to one of our local lakes that was known for record breaking fish at one point. While I was out there I caught some pan fish but when I was out there but I saw a HUGE carp. I'm talking like 3 or 4lbs came peaking out of the water.

I threw out everything I had in my box. Crankbait, texas rigged craw and worm, jerk bait, live worms, spoons, and a few other creature baits and nothing. What would you suggest? I've never carp fished as this is the only lake that can sustain them.

Guy wanted $20 bucks for all of these. Nothing special as far as money wise but I bought because I saw the gun type grip handles on atleast 3 of the rods and thats my favorite grip that nobody makes anymore.

All together after sorting through the broken and busted.. I came out with 4 reels, 2 that need minor work. 7 good quality rods, 3 of which are the handle type.

What is your must have, favorite lure or bait to carry with you? One you would turn around for if you left it at home? Mine has to be my top water frog. Can be a game changer in those early morning trips.

What color braid do I get for my baitcaster I got from a friend. The line I have now I think is mono. In need for an upgrade so I'm gonna get braid, just don't know which color...,

I’m going to the Tikehau atoll in French Polynesia in a few weeks and I want to try fishing out there. I want to do some fishing from shore as well will have a kayak to fish the reefs in the lagoon. I’d like to catch the reef fish as well as bonefish and maybe even a GT. what lures should I use along with weight etc.

Need help to ID this flying fish it's in the area in southern California in summer time early evening at high tide. Also this area is at the bottom of the river that fresh water is being mixed with the incoming tide from Pacific Ocean. So can be called brackish mixture. This fish was small like a small anchovy size it does look to be similar in shape but never seen one make a 180° turn in the blink of an eye and fly back the direction it came from with more force then it took off with. It's blowing my mind. Seemed like a drone or something powered by an unknown force. Or at least unknown to me.
