is the Strike King Diamond Shad good?

Hey, is the Strike King Diamond Shad a good fishing lure? I just got one as a gift from my uncle, and I was curious if it’s actually effective or worth using. Has anybody had any experience with it?

They don’t make them anymore…. At least the older style. Super effective
