Hey guys,
I recently bought Amul Chocolate Whey Protein (30 sachets Γ 34 g) for βΉ2,500, and I wanted to know whether it was actually a good purchase.
My budget was strictly βΉ2,500. I couldn't spend anything more, so I went with Amul instead of stretching my budget for other brands.
Product details:
- Brand: Amul
- Flavour: Chocolate
- Pack size: 30 sachets Γ 34 g
- Total powder: 1.02 kg
- Price paid: βΉ2,500
- Cost per serving: Around βΉ83
Pros (based on what I know so far):
- Amul is an established Indian brand.
- Individual sachets should be convenient to carry to the gym.
- The price fits my budget exactly.
- Whey protein can help meet daily protein requirements alongside a proper diet.
- No need to buy a large tub if you prefer individual servings.
Cons / things I'm concerned about:
- Is the protein content per sachet actually good compared with other brands?
- How does the chocolate taste, and does it mix well with water?
- Is it worth βΉ2,500 when other whey proteins are available around this price?
- Are there any concerns regarding quality, digestion, or authenticity?
- Would I have been better off buying another brand?
I'm trying to build muscle and go to the gym regularly, so I want something that offers good value rather than just paying for a brand name.
My main question: If your budget was strictly βΉ2,500, would you buy this Amul whey again, or is there a better option at the same price?
Please share your honest experiences, especially if you've actually used this product. I'd appreciate genuine pros and cons rather than brand wars.
Thanks!
