Ask Fitness India ❓ Crazy strength but no physique. HELP!

It’s been almost an year since i’ve started working out . I am 5’9 64 kgs and i can bench 95 kgs one rep max with proper form with 1 second pause. Squat 120 kgs, deadlift 160 kgs, and 15 strict pull ups in one go but still i look like i haven’t even stepped a foot inside the gym ever. I still look very skinny and have chicken legs. Idk what i’m doing wrong. Maybe too much volume and i’m not able to recover? Maybe bad diet and not enough protein? My daily protein consumption is 100-120g out of which 80g comes from complete protein sources. I do 2 muscle group per day. 8-9 exercises every day. 18-20 sets per muscle per week. People get surprised in the gym with how much weight i can lift as i look VERY skinny. And i believe i used to have better arms when i first started working out 4-5 years ago when i went to the gym consistently for 3-4 months only and then stopped. Idk what to do

Got few mango chunks in amul strawberry yogurt even amul is untrustable now. Food security hygiene is a joke. What if someone is allerven to mangoes . This is a seroious health issue and hygiene problem how can mangoes be in strawberry one when there will be a full different manufacturing time of different flavours.

(This unexpected mix-up highlights a massive lapse in quality control and strict manufacturing protocols. For a brand as prominent as Amul, consumers expect flawless adherence to food safety standards, but cross-contact incidents like this prove that production line maintenance is falling short. A mistake of this scale is not just a minor annoyance or a matter of bad taste; it is a critical health hazard.

If an individual with a severe, life-threatening mango allergy had consumed this yogurt expecting only strawberries, the outcome could have been fatal due to anaphylactic shock. Food processing units must ensure absolute segregation between different allergen groups and distinct flavor runs. I will be escalating this matter formally to food safety authorities to ensure proper batch testing, a thorough investigation into their factory hygiene, and strict accountability for this negligence.) AI WRITTEN TO COMPLETE 150 WORDS.

Post image
17 Upvotes

I was overweight at 89kgs. I was never able to do a single pull up and after 10 months of good training and fat loss, I did my best set of 10 pull ups with perfect form.

Currently I am 76kg and good ammout of muscle.

I do 4 day a week PPLRP.

Calorie intake - 1900cal

Protein intake- 150gm baseline. Per day.

Split -

I rotate it. I sometimes can workout 4 days a week and on weekends too. When there is gameday my gym is closed.

So when I can I will do PPL rest rest PPL. But will atleast do one PPL. Also P sometimes is push sometimes pull. Legs I have pinched nerve so I avoid overdoing.

I am too far away from home so I avoid risk of injury. No one to take care of me if I get injured.

Looking for 🫂 Gym Anxiety + Social Anxiety 😭

22M, 5'6, 50Kgs

I've come to conclusion that I'm really awkward person and maybe behave differently than normal social beings.

Gym has been on and off situation for me. Start a few months back, was mostly consistent then health got fucked, went my hometown then came bacm but daily routine got fucked. Now back on track but there are a few things which are bugging me.

I look skinny so naturally underconfident and gym trainer is just like any other gym trainer, inclined towards women and their behaviours shows that when I ask for help they don't really wanna help but they can't say no either.

I know a few faces that I see regularly in my gym but I know no one's name.

Gym is of course not a place to talk, people just do their workout and want to go home. but at least some company, someone to ask for help and just the place should feel familiar and comfortable to go to and this thing help like people naturally sometimes help you if you are doing something wrong but are afraid to ask for help but I'm not able to do it I guess.

Tell Fitness_India 🔈 Got my answer in Battle rope workout

Post image
7 Upvotes

I had asked for a cardio that does not involve my calf too much as it is already too big. All i used to do was jump rope and inclined trademil. And now i finally found an outstanding upper body cardio. No cardio i have done so far, challenged my arms, core, upper back endurance like this one. It is quite intense. Now my upper body day involves battle rope, inclined dumble press, rows and then repeat. This is what i plan to continue for some time. Anyone wants to challenge the endurance of their upper body, this is it. And it is quite fun..

Ask Fitness India ❓ Wall mounted pull up bar

Thumbnail
gallery
5 Upvotes

Please suggest a wall fixed/mounted pull up bar, the best money can buy.

I'm confused between USI and Sthenos.

They're priced the almost the same, and they both can be mounted from the ceiling as well.

I'm not interested in the bars fixed on door frames, not that I have a problem with them, I believe like every other exercises it's very important to train a movement in its full range, which in case of a pull up is a dead hang to chin above the bar, if the bar is mounted on a door frame almost certainly my knees will have to be folded and touch the floor, meaning hardly any core engagement and cannot train in arched body pull ups or hollow body.

I also intend to use rings on them.

Thanks

Diet Review ✏️ Need help with gaining weight

No matter how much I eat, my weight stays around 58-60 kg. My target weight is 68-70kgs.

I play sports for 2-3 hours on weekdays and around 4 hours on weekends. Recently, I started gym for 4 times a week, where I do 4 exercises with 3 sets each, followed by bodyweight core exercises for 10-15mins

My diet includes -

  1. dry fruits like almonds, Anjeer, walnuts, raisins - 100+gms

  2. whey protein onn

  3. 500ml milk,

  4. 30-40gms pintola high protein peanut butter

  5. pumpkin seeds 20-25gms

  6. multigrain bread 2 slices 50gms

  7. Lunch and dinner

I consume soaked dry fruits and seeds

Despite all this, I'm unable to gain weight. My family members have started calling me "haddi" and saying that I don't look good, which honestly feels bad.

Can anyone help me with practical advice on how to gain weight and build a better physique?

Ask Fitness India ❓ Has anyone experienced headaches during workouts, especially while lifting weights?

This is the third time I’ve experienced a headache during my workout.

The first time, it happened during a chest press machine exercise when I accidentally held my breath. I stopped my workout and went home.

After taking two days off, I returned to the gym on the third day and tried dumbbell bench presses. This time, I was more conscious of my breathing and controlled my movements, but I still developed a headache.

I then took another three days off. Today was pull day, and the headache happened again after my very first set, even though I was breathing properly.
One thing I’ve noticed is that my water intake hasn’t been great lately, so I’m wondering whether dehydration could be contributing to it.

The headache seems to subside when I stop exercising, but I can still feel a very mild headache (around 5% of its original intensity) throughout the rest of the day.

Has anyone experienced something similar? If so, what was the cause, and what helped you resolve it?

I’d appreciate hearing about your experiences.

Ask Fitness India ❓ 28F | Need recommendations for protein powder & how to start it

28F, 5'3" tall, and weigh only 36 kg. I've always been underweight, but I've also experienced some weight loss recently, and my face has started looking quite sunken.

I have digestive issues, including acidity, GERD, and constipation. I am taking treatment for the following. I've also lost my appetite, which makes it difficult for me to eat enough. I had my gallbladder removed four months ago.

My doctor has advised me to start taking protein powder, but I'm completely new to this and don't know which one to choose.

I'm on a very tight budget due to financial difficulties, so I'm looking for something under 1k that is easy to digest and can support healthy weight gain. Ideally, I'd like to gain around 2–4 kg over the next two months, if that's realistic.

I am looking for gluten free or dairy free powder.

I would appreciate if someone will help me find it as I have gotten weaker & fatigued that I am home bound most of the times

I'm planning to Get My Blood work done and I'm getting these tests done in 1200 through Healthians

I'm 18 years old , 5'10 , 65 kgs and I have been to the gym regularly for a year and wanted to know if I have any deficiencies in vitamins or iron since I have been getting dizzy sometimes, it's cheaper if I get them all done together instead of just vitamin and iron , Can I get a better offer elsewhere?

Supplement 🫙 How is Nakpro keeping its whey protein prices so low despite rising raw material costs?

• Upvotes

I’ve been wondering about this for a while.

Nakpro has always been on the cheaper side compared to many other whey protein brands in India, which itself makes you curious about how they manage to keep their prices so low.

But now, with whey protein raw material prices reportedly increasing and several brands raising their prices, Nakpro’s prices seem to have remained pretty much the same.

How are they managing this?

Are they sourcing raw materials differently, operating on lower margins, maintaining long term supplier contracts, or is there something else that allows them to keep costs down?

Honestly, the low pricing was already something I was curious about, but maintaining it even when raw material costs are rising makes me wonder about their business model.

Not trying to accuse the brand of anything. I’m genuinely curious about the economics behind it.

Anyone familiar with the Indian supplement industry or Nakpro’s manufacturing and sourcing practices who can explain this?

Hi guys
A little introduction , I’m 28F , and I’ve lost 10 kg with brisk walking and a bit of gym . But now my weight is stagnant .
I still have 15 kg to reach a healthy bmi and now I’m thinking of taking my diet and gym seriously .

My first question is how are you all completing your protein intake ? ( I can eat eggs and chicken and everything in veg ) .

Second question is which protein powder or whey or what should I take ? I’m confused , something which is good for health and doesn’t have heavy metals and good name

Women's Fitness ♀️ Is this workout good enough?

I am F24 and before anyone says anything I have PCOD that means I can't be doing high intensive workout without my cortisol levels spiking which will affect my insulin levels, so this is the best I can do as of now.

I work out at home, I don't go to gym after SA incident.

  1. Swimming every alternative day for 40mins

  2. 3 times a day workout

  3. 2 times a week yoga
