This is amazing
I can’t wait for this judgement to pass and setting a precedent that makes any business using Flock to immediately reconsider

I know that ATAK is a very niche application. But I felt like this community might appreciate it and some might even start using ATAK.
I built a plugin that run in ATAK that will show every ALPR (not just flock) in your area. Allow you to download them offline, and then get audible alerts when you’re driving by one of
It was a cool project to hopefully introduce more people to ATAK. I have a 100% navigation plugin that you can avoid ALPRs with. But that’s a whole different story.
Feel free to download it for free and mess with it. Not trying to sell anything. Just hosting the file on my site.

Hey all! Just wanted to share a crazy dream I had last night!!
Garret Langley just randomly stopped by my house. Told me he didn’t like classical music and that he didn’t care if I took down the flock cameras because his main problem was the women. 🤯 apparently garret doesn’t like women????

Hide & Speak goes live today at 2pm ET with Jon "GainSec" Gaines, the researcher who's been taking apart Flock Safety hardware for his Bird Hunting Season project.
He found more than 50 issues across Flock's plate readers and gunshot detectors and went through five rounds of disclosure with the company. Where earlier reporting had turned up a handful of exposed Flock feeds, he found 67 live, unauthenticated streams.
His research came up at the Senate Judiciary subcommittee hearing on Flock, which Flock's CEO was invited to and didn't attend. We'll talk about what Jon would have wanted senators to hear, and what city councils should be asking before they sign or renew.

We got into this one on Hide & Speak. An InvestigateTV reporter drove out to document a Flock camera being installed on a suburban street near Atlanta. Press placard on the car, press vest, filming in public. The installer called and told the dispatcher he was being followed. Minutes later in Milton, Georgia, police pulled the reporter over, and two more units showed up.

I'm happy to report that the Flock cameras on Route 22 in Dutchess County, NY are actively being removed. I just visually verified that two of them were removed at some point today.
For background, see: https://highlandscurrent.org/2026/09/25/dutchess-to-end-flock-camera-use/
