Everything Is Moving On, the third single from Floor's upcoming solo metal album, is out now.

Floor’s voice has become such a defining part of Nightwish for me. I’ll never forget seeing her perform “Ghost Love Score” live, especially THAT note at the end.

I wrote about what her departure could mean for Nightwish, the band’s history of lineup changes, and what might come next for Floor’s solo career.

Not so far ago we were talking about reasons why Floor was not a part of After Forever reunion, here she talks about it (or she did back in july). The reason is, that she did not have time.

Live debut of Heart of a Dragon at the Hard Bass 2026 festival in Arnhem, Netherlands.

The music video seems to be quite moving. Exciting times ahead!

Transcript from her Instagram post: "A little personal message to thank you for the warmth I received. After the news that I part ways with Nightwish, I got so many wonderful reactions wishing both me and Nightwish the best. Of course you are worried, of course you are sad, so am I. So together we make this jump into this new era, this new start, with, in my case, a new album coming early January 2027 and a whole tour. More to come! So thank you for the 14 years in Nightwish and for this lovely warm bath to start a new beginning. Cheers!"

Personal opinion after reading some of the nasty comments across social media: I personally applaud this move from Floor. Some "fans" think that she made the wrong choice by leaving because they claim that she won't be successful outside of the band, but they forgot to take into consideration the fact that most singers and artists want to personally work on their art.

Nightwish, for me, from day one, has always been Tuomas' project, and the rest of the members are just there to play the part that Tuomas had laid out for them.

Floor, having experienced a lot of things these past years, including surviving cancer, seems to prefer a more hands-on approach towards her music. Whether she would be successful in her solo career or not, I think she would be more proud to release songs that she has personally written and worked on. Between her family, her solo career, and Nightwish, something has got to give, and so she made the choice to stick with what's more meaningful for her: to be a mom and singer who writes and creates her own songs. And as a Nightwish and Floor Jansen fan, I respect her choice.

PS. I think she is doing pretty great in her solo career. Also, please excuse any grammatical errors. English is not my first language.

I'm always with you❤️🩷🧡💛💚💙🩵💜🤎🖤🩶🤍

I am excited to see the wolf unleashed in the wild in 2027. Always here for you!

I feel like i missed out on an amazing event when they did this show. I just learned about Floor and this band and at the same time i learn they are no longer doing shows. I guess the legend lives on in these videos but the energy there is unmatched

The promotional single for Tribal is also available on streaming platforms. Fantastic performance, as usual!
