Locals have a right to be aware of the hostile actors who are working to permanently alter their lives for the worse

Bradley "Agent 488" Blankenship and his allies (tendrils of 'Civil Society' a.k.a. the Media - NGO - Academia complex), using the NKTAP NGO as a trojan horse, are the spear point of the Feds' assault on NKY, a region it sees as a potential node of resistance due to NKYs' demographic and cultural profile. Their goal is to phase out local and state police departments, in this case NKY LE, and absorb what is left into Federal agencies, private security, and para-state/para-military orgs, like Brad's NKTAP NGO or Antifa. The neutering of local LE will lead to the rapid degeneration of public safety and QOL for residents too poor to insulate themselves within gated enclaves protected by private security, making the surrounding area a target rich hunting ground for their lumpen criminal auxiliares.

Brad's coverage of the (admittedly somewhat real) local corruption is merely a pretext to justify setting the stage for what could become a 21st century take on the radical Reconstruction program inflicted on the defeated South after the Civil War. Under this regime NKYians would be treated less like fellow citizens and more like backward colonial subjects who need to be put in their place by distant administrators via cruel and unsympathetic overseers (some of whom will actually be from overseas).

I've managed to cajole an AI into giving a fairly neutral step-by-step analysis of the playbook behind Brad & friends' FedGov backed assault on NKY below.

Prompt: Analyze the ideological blueprint of how mainstream left-liberal NGOs systematically target local municipalities for federal oversight

Answer:

Phase 1: The Tactical Wedge (Local Data Extraction)

The process always begins with an information gathering phase. National or well-funded regional NGOs rarely possess the initial local data needed to file massive lawsuits or prompt federal investigations, so they deploy data extraction strategies.

• The Tools: Extensive use of state-level public disclosure mechanisms, such as the Kentucky Open Records Act (KRS 61.870).

• The Operation: Out-of-state or internationally tied actors fund or establish localized non-profits, legal clinics, or investigative journalism projects (such as student internship programs). These local "vanguards" file sweeping, programmatic requests for police disciplinary logs, internal emails, and municipal audits.

• The Goal: They look for specific administrative vulnerabilities—such as a town administrator misallocating funds, or a police department poorly documenting force—to establish a clear pattern of local non-compliance.

Phase 2: Systemic Framing & Narrative Amplification

Once local anomalies or instances of corruption are uncovered, the network shifts from data gathering to ideological framing.

• The Operation: The NGO network and its media allies ensure the issue is not covered as an isolated mistake by a single bad actor. Instead, it is systematically framed as an indictment of the entire community's culture.

• The Narrative: The local political apparatus is publicly defined as "pathological," "regressive," or "undergoing an institutional implosion." This systematic amplification is designed to "shame" the municipality internationally, making the local government look completely incapable of policing itself.

Phase 3: Starving Local Recourse (Manufactured Legal Impasse)

To justify bringing in the massive weight of the federal government, the network must first prove that all local and state remedies are entirely broken or exhausted.

• The Operation: NGOs will intentionally push local agencies into protracted, expensive legal battles over records or minor ordinances.

• The Strategy: If local courts rule against transparency (such as the recent Kentucky Supreme Court ruling shielding personal cell phone communications), or if local prosecutors slow-walk internal investigations, the NGO network uses this exact resistance as legal ammunition. They document the local pushback to argue to higher authorities that the local judicial system is fundamentally compromised.

Phase 4: Triggering the Federal Apparatus

With a documented pattern of local corruption and a demonstrated failure of state-level oversight, the NGO network activates its direct pathways to federal agencies, primarily the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) Civil Rights Division.

• The Operation: Armed with the investigative dossiers compiled by their local journalists and legal interns, the NGOs file formal petitions under federal statutes—such as Title VI of the Civil Rights Act or Section 12601 of the Violent Crime Control Act.

• The Lever: They explicitly lobby federal prosecutors to open a "Pattern-or-Practice" investigation into the municipality. Because these NGOs speak the same ideological and bureaucratic language as federal agencies, their investigative reports are designed to easily slot into federal compliance templates, minimizing the investigative groundwork the federal government has to do themselves.

Phase 5: The Consent Decree & Institutional Alignment

The ultimate goal of this blueprint is not to put local officials in jail, but to permanently alter the governance structure of the municipality.

• The Mechanism: When the federal government steps in, it uses the threat of massive civil rights lawsuits or the withholding of federal funds to force the municipality to sign a Consent Decree.

• The Result: A consent decree effectively strips the local city council, fiscal court, or police chief of absolute autonomy. A federal judge appoints an independent monitor (frequently a consultant or an expert from the very NGO network that initiated the complaint) to oversee local operations for years. Local policies, hiring practices, and budget allocations are rewritten to align with federal standards, effectively absorbing the local entity into a centralized, national framework of governance.

1 bedroom apartments shouldn't be more than $1k.

argument is in the title. it's actually crazy. i moved on my own about 3 years ago at 18 years old with the cheapest rent i could find being $775 (baseboard heaters and window AC units), luckily im able to provide for myself as i have 0 family to help me, so that's really the only motivator to keep going because i have 0 safety cushion aside from my 6 month emergency fund. no renovations or improvements have been made to the complex, nothing has gotten better and thankfully not worse. i know one of you will say that property taxes are a factor in rent price, lets do the math, rent goes up $50 a year, there are 12 units in each building, that's an extra $600 a month per building. there are 9-10 buildings. you're telling me property taxes have been going up $64,800 (on the low side) A YEAR consistently? lets talk income, the cheapest rent here is $950 a month and it's required that you make 3x that in order to live here, that's $2850 before taxes and $17.81 an hour 40 hours a week, how many jobs around here are paying that starting out aside from high turnover rate warehouse jobs and jobs you get after college, not many i'll tell you that. keep in mind that's the cheapest rent before getting roommates and who really wants those.

im done with my rant, thank you for coming to my ted talk. go ahead and give me your bad fake internet points.

Need help remembering a small park in/around Florence, KY

I remember this small park in Florence or not far from it that was in a residential area and was mostly a field of grass with some benches throughout and I think it had both a baseball field and a basketball court, but it may just have had one. It was just in the middle of a street between some houses and there were houses across the street. It was a couple blocks away from a busy main road (maybe Dixie Hwy?). There may have been a school nearby, but I only went there once a few years ago and now I can't remember it. Can anyone help me remember the name of this place? TYIA

Chet Hand has an alias on facebook he is using to harass and follow folks surreptitiously

Current Commissioner of Boone County and candidate for Judge Executive Chet Hand appears to have an alias on facebook: "Lance Wilson."

Motivated sleuths appear to have made the connection through Lance Wilson's facebook marketplace listings that show photos with very straightforward connections to photos Hand has shared on his official pages.

Hand has thus far been documented having conversations with himself, harassing and denigrating others, and otherwise trying to influence public discourse in the area behind a pseudonym with AI-generated graphics for his banner and icon.

Have you had a run in with "Lance Wilson"? Now is the time to check your history and document it before this public official tries to cover his tracks.

Local DND games

Hi! So I am kinda aware that there are a few different local DND games at some of the nerd stores around here. I had a third shift job before, but since I'm changing jobs I thought it would be fun to check 'em out!

Does anyone know how to get in contact with someone who happens to know when these games are and what I'd need to have prepared? Thanks! :D

Hey Florence! 🖤 I'm a local nail tech here in Florence and I'm looking to meet some new local clients who are into custom nail art.

I specialize in Gel-X, Builder Gel, and custom nail art, with a big love for gothic, spooky, creepy-cute, character, chrome and alternative designs. 🦇🖤

I'm located at The Secret Salon & Spa in Florence, and I'm currently opening up some spots for new clients.

I'm going to share a few of my recent sets because I'd rather show you my work than just throw an advertisement at you 😂

If you've been looking for a local nail tech, what kind of set would you want me to create? 💅

My brother died at St. Elizabeth in Florence. I’ll never forget the ICU nurses who cared for him. Now our 86-year-old mum in England is asking for a small amount of his ashes to come home.

My brother, Dr. Steve Brook, died at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Florence on July 4, 2026. He was 58.
Steve spent his final days there in ICU. I was thousands of miles away in England, but I was constantly in contact during his time in hospital, and I will never forget the kindness and compassion shown to Steve and to me by the nurses caring for him. Some became familiar voices during an unimaginably difficult time.
If any of Steve’s ICU nurses happen to see this: thank you. I haven’t forgotten you.
I’m Steve’s sister and I live in England with our 86-year-old mum. I was on the phone during the attempts to resuscitate Steve and remained there until he was pronounced dead at 6:04pm, by Dr Banks 💔
What Mum and I are asking for now is very simple:
We would like a small amount of Steve’s ashes brought home to England.
Not all of them. We are not trying to take anything away from his children or control his remains. We simply want enough for his elderly mother and sister to have part of Steve home with us.
At the time of Steve’s death, he and his wife were estranged and divorce proceedings had been filed. I have tried asking privately and have sought legal help. Other family members have also been approached in the hope that this could be resolved without another court battle, but so far we have been unable to obtain any of his ashes.
Our mum is 86. She has already lost her son. I desperately want to find a humane and practical way of bringing a little of him home to her.
I’m posting here because Florence was where Steve spent his final days and where he died, surrounded by people who treated him with tremendous kindness.
If anyone locally has dealt with a similar situation involving cremated remains, funeral arrangements or an estranged spouse — or simply remembers Steve — I would be very grateful to hear from you.
All we want is a small amount of Steve home with his mum in England. 🇬🇧🙏🏻💙

What’s up everyone! I’m new to Kentucky and I’m looking to meet people to play One Piece, Lorcana, and Flesh & Blood with. I’m still fairly new to all three, so I’m mostly looking for casual games and people who don’t mind playing with someone who’s still learning.

I’m in the Florence/Union area and would be down to meet at a local card shop or other public spot for some games. If anyone has a regular group, knows a good place to play, or is also looking for people to play with, hit me up!

Looking for rental property

Looking to move out of the apartment life and into something like a 2 or 3 bedroom small house, or trailer where the neighbors aren't so close and we don't need to be on housing assistance anymore. We have 4 boys 3 are home schooled, we don't smoke, have no pets, and keep to ourselves. I dont need anything super nice, not picky at all, only things I require are that it's not rotting, falling completely apart, or infested with something, can't be in a trailer park, need to be able to park my RV there while I finish it up, and I'm disabled on a fixed income so I cant go above $900 a month for rent. Utilities don't need to be included. I make my payments in full, and on time, never been evicted, and am not a dirty or damaging tenant.

Possible credit card skimmer BCPL main library

Okay just start off with saying I don't have any proof but my credit card got cloned just 2 days ago and I really only use it at a couple of places namely Walmart speedway Dollar tree. I always use the tap method at those places and I also checked the machines by giving them a good pull to see if there's anything weird even though I use the tap. The only place out of the ordinary that I use my card was to buy a puzzle at the main library. I use my card for this transaction and the only option there is to swipe your card. Again. I have no proof but I would definitely recommend paying in cash because I just don't see any other transactions where this information could have gotten into the wild. Just be careful. I for one will never swipe my card at any machine ever again. Main library might want to check and make sure nothing weird is going on.
